Ruth Garbus, of Brattleboro VT, is a force of nature in the Upper Valley. Her visual art and musical work are always imbued with the magic of a crisp fall evening, suggesting the shifting mystery of the seasons, rooted in the granite of the White Mountains. Rendezvous with Rama was originally issued on CD (Autumn Records) in 2010, around the same time she was working in the quartet Happy Birthday. This followed her work with the Feathers Family collective, who were responsible for some of the first progressive-folk-smoke to drift from Southern Vermont. But this here is what she sounded like solo back in those days, and it's great. These days, Ruth's voice and topics feel darker and maybe richer somehow, but the vibe here is as light as a seagull who got tricked into following the Connecticut River up from the Long Island Sound. Backing herself with circular acoustic patterns, her voice recalls the sweet charm of Sandy Denny when she was with the Strawbs, or the way Joni Mitchell covered Leonard Cohen's 'Urge for Going,' in '72. Rendezvous with Rama is a classic piece of volk vinyl, and you will be damn pleased to have it in your collection. -Byron Coley, 2015

Excellent garlic powder

Excellent garlic powder. Note that the holes for shaking it out are a bit large, so the garlic powder comes out quickly, so you have to be very careful when you shake or pour. The flavor is perfect. I am very pleased. I’d recommend and will buy again. God bless!

I see a lot of discussion over this product. Many loving it and many saying it is not granulated, but in the powder form. It IS indeed labelled Garlic Powder, but this is actually the granulated type, just very small granules. This is important because I like the granulated; I find the true powder form to be hard to work with and not as good tasting. This Amazon Grocery Garlic Powder is excellent, very fine quality, dried garlic into tiny granules. I'm very happy with this product.

Reasonably priced garlic powder with no anti caking ingredients.

I like this garlic powder it is just like similar ones I purchased in the past.
It has no additive so you get pure garlic powder there is no anti- caking agent.
It is not like the store bought granulated garlic powder with anti-caking agents
When you pour it out lightly tap it because it could come out fairly fast compared to the granulated garlic type.
Whenever I get a chance I order a new one because this is flavorful. Just when I add it to Chicken fried I added on the top after cooking that and covering you don't want to burn it.
