Brazil is not only coffee, football, carnival, toucans, and parrots. There is another parallel world, also colorful and, moreover, cultured: it is the musical world, which for the most part remains unknown to Europeans. This album is part of a piano project dedicated precisely to the rediscovery and dissemination of Brazilian classical composers active from the mid-19th century to the mid-20th century. The aim is to highlight and enhance the universal characteristics of commingling and cultural richness, dissolving the distance between the music and the listener. To achieve this, it was decided to start with the one considered the greatest Brazilian musician, Villa-Lobos: a prolific composer, multi-instrumentalist, and a promoter of renewal himself.
