3-piece Damascus slicing carving knife set with bone handles at JW Steel Crafts with a water flow blade pattern, natural ivory bone handles, a square silver bolster, and a medallion pin — a forged artisan-made set built for precise carving and gifting.

The History Behind This Blade

Damascus steel has been a mark of superior cutting performance for over a thousand years — valued across Middle Eastern, Persian, and Asian blade traditions for its layered strength and edge retention. The flowing water pattern emerged from controlled steel folding that pushed surface contrast and visual depth into the blade during forging. Bone handles have been used in fine cutlery for centuries, prized for their natural grip, ivory tone, and lasting durability. At JW Steel Crafts, every blade in this set is forged and finished by hand.

Blade Performance

Each blade is forged from layered Damascus steel. The water flow pattern moves in smooth sweeping waves across the full blade surface — bold silver and dark grey contrast running clearly from tip to silver bolster. Layering builds hardness and lasting edge retention directly into the steel structure. Thin tapered edges slice through roasts, proteins, and vegetables with low drag and clean results. These blades hold their edge well through repeated carving and daily kitchen use.

Handle Construction

Each handle is natural bone — creamy ivory tone with subtle natural variation across all three pieces. The square silver bolster connects blade and handle firmly on every knife. One round medallion pin secures the full tang inside the handle — a refined detail that marks each knife as a handcrafted collectible piece. The grip feels secure and balanced during carving strokes and extended prep work. The full tang runs the complete blade length for maximum strength and durability.

FAQs

Q: What knives are included in this Damascus Slicing Carving Knife Set with Bone Handle?
You get three forged knives — a chef knife, slicing knife, and carving knife. The set covers daily prep, protein slicing, and precise table-side carving in one matched collection.

Q: Why choose natural bone handles over synthetic materials?
Natural bone gives each handle a unique ivory tone and natural grip texture. No two handles are identical — a detail that makes this set genuinely handcrafted and collectible.

Q: Is this set suitable for BBQ carving and table-side service?
Yes. The slicing and carving knives draw through brisket, roasts, and large proteins cleanly. They are built for both kitchen prep and table-side carving at gatherings.

Q: Does Damascus steel hold its edge through repeated carving use?
Yes. Layered forging builds edge retention directly into the steel. These blades stay sharp through repeated carving sessions and daily kitchen use with proper care.

Q: Is this set a strong gift choice for a meat lover or BBQ enthusiast?
Yes. The water flow Damascus blades, natural bone handles, and carving-focused configuration make it a premium gift for BBQ enthusiasts, chefs, and serious home cooks.

Q: Are all three knives identical in size?
No. The set includes three graduated blade sizes — a long slicer, a medium chef knife, and a shorter carving knife — each built for a specific cutting role.

Q: How should I care for these Damascus blades and bone handles?
Hand wash only. Dry immediately after each use. Avoid soaking bone handles in water. Apply food-safe oil occasionally to maintain both the blade finish and bone handle condition.

Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.
Format: Kindle
A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it. Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.

Not a bad start
Format: Kindle
3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

Unexpectedly emotional and packed with action!
Format: Kindle
Why do I suddenly want nothing more than a tiny wyvern to snuggle with?! It’s adorable and I absolutely love all of those moments! Wings of Stars was everything I’ve come expect from this powerful author duo. The fact that it’s written by two different people is completely transparent to the reader and they’ve brought us another world and characters that we’re all emotionally connected to and fully invested in! The injustice that we see from Alfemir in the many forms in which it comes is infuriating and makes me desperate for the conclusion of the story so they can all get what’s coming to them! I love all the guys right now, with one exception, and if you’re read it, you know exactly who I’m talking about. Bastian is hilarious - he was the comedic relief through an otherwise quite serious story. My heart bleeds for him and I can’t wait to see how he progresses through the series. Parts of Wings of Stars were unexpectedly emotional and of course I was left with my jaw on the floor at that cliffhanger! Next, please!

Niz !!!
Format: Kindle
First, let me say that I love both of these authors. I have been hooked by both ever since I discovered their writings, and I follow their social media groups closely. This book did not disappoint. Sure, there are several questions that I have, a couple of times I went huh (which I won't get into because I do not want to offer any spoilers) and I hated the cliff hanger lol, but I cannot lie and say I didn't love the book, because I did. The twist on angels was new and fresh, even though that is part of my questions. The beginning and ending were the better parts, the middle was needed but sorta bogged a little. Kieran was confusing but relatable. Niz is BY FAR the best character of the book, love NIZ. For me, Bastian is a close second, always loved the crazy ones. The other men were good, but Steele gets on my nerves and as of right now, IMO, he doesn't belong, but we will see how that goes. I have lots of questions, but this was an excellent start to a new series and I cannot wait for the next book. Highly recommend

fallen destiny? more like destined to fall in love
Format: Kindle
Kieran is an angel, but she doesn't have an affinity. Nothing angers her father more. If she doesn't find an affinity soon she will be cast to earth & have her wings removed. But she has the choice to become a fallen angel, wings turn black, & live her life on edge. Towards the end of the book things start to make sense. Gabe’s nickname for Kieran, Steele’a hatred, Bastian’s belief that Kieran is powerful. This book ended literally during a war? As one of her friends was injured, and admitted a bit secret? Talk about cliff hanger. The next book comes out August 5th.
