Sit on a quiet hillside at dawn among the wildflowers; take a picture of a car coming up a deserted highway from the south.
Simple orders for Inspector O, until he realizes they have led him far, far off his department's turf and into a maelstrom of betrayal and death. North Korea's leaders are desperate to hunt down and eliminate anyone who knows too much about a series of decade's-old kidnappings and murders---and Inspector O discovers too late he has been sent into the chaos. This is a world where nothing works as it should, where the crimes of the past haunt the present, and where even the shadows are real.
Author James Church weaves a story with beautifully spare prose and layered descriptions of a country and a people he knows by heart after decades as an intelligence officer.

." . . an outstanding crime novel. . . . a not-to-be-missed reading experience. "
---Library Journal (starred)

"Inspector O is completely believable and sympathetic . . . The writing is superb, too . . . richly layered and visually evocative."

." . . an impressive debut that calls to mind such mystery thrillers as Martin Cruz Smith's Gorky Park. . . ."

Works well, a little under powered
Size: 9 inches
Works well, a little under powered when I used it for the first time. Once you get the groove established it works great to maintain it

It’s junk
Size: 9 inches
Deserves a zero. Like some others said on here, it runs for 3 seconds and just stops with battery fully charged. I got it for Christmas so too late to return. More China junk.

Great price, does a good job
Size: 9 inches
I’m mostly old. School when it comes to yard equipment. A gas engine has got to be better than a battery . I have  a weed eater that will take out a tree but makes a lousy edger. Since I  don’t have a large lawn, I gave this guy a try. Turns out it does a pretty good job. Can’t beat the price and it’s simple to use. Be aware, this vendor sells the unit only. They have no spare parts and you will need to source replacement blades. ( they supply 1 spare). Otherwise, worth a try. John J Why did you pick this product vs others?: A cheap price and a limited need.

Not too bad for the price
Size: 9 inches
I was skeptical if an edger as cheap as this one would do the job at all. I figured if it worked at all it might be worth the price. I was surprised be it is actually pretty good. I have a medium sized area. Just one driveway and about 30 feet of sidewalk. I will use it four or five times a summer and I expect it will last for a few years. It hold a charge enough for my needs. If you have a large driveway or plan on using it every day, you will probably be disappointed. But if you have a small area to do, its not bad.
