It's been part of his modus operandi for five decades - making music that defies easy categorization. On God Is A Drummer, his 20th recording as a leader, the uncommonly open-minded musician pays tribute to some fallen colleagues and role models who have guided and inspired him along the way. Leading his dynamic, Hamburg-based group of trumpeter Frederik Köster, trombonist Christophe Schweizer, Turkish-born keyboardist Sabri Tulug Tirpan, and electric bassist Jonathan Cuniado, Gurtu acknowledges the impact that legends like keyboardist and Weather Report co-founder Joe Zawinul, Brazilian percussionist Nana Vasconcelos, jazz drumming great Tony Williams, and his mother, the Indian classical singing star Shobha Gurtu, have made on his musical life. Regarding the title, the leader says, "I named it that because without the drummer, nothing will move. And without movement, the world will stop. The Earth rotates, which is movement. Design Hazard

I have one of these in a larger version I picked up at the petstore. This one I do not recommend. There is a whole in the center where the pet bites down and my doggies' teeth kept getting stuck in it. If you've ever had a toy get stuck in your pups mouth, you've seen how thet go nuts trying to get it out.

Cane Corso approved

I have two Cane Corsos, One is 80 pounds the other is 120 pounds. They can seriously destroy some toys very easily. These chewies have actually lasted for over six months at this point, which is pretty much miraculous. I bought them some more just so I always had plenty of them laying around as this discourages them from getting into trouble, chewing things they shouldn’t be chewing. They walk around with these and their mouths all the time and even after all these months, the squeakers still work. These are really high-quality and if you have a dog that just destroys toy toy, I highly recommend these. Even though they’ve had these for months, they go back to them to chew on and play with , it’s also really funny because they walk around with one and hanging out of their mouth and it looks like they’ve got a stogie hanging out of their mouth. If these toys can keep the interest and survive being mauled by these two giant Destructo mutts, then they must be really, really tough. I highly recommend these for super chewers. These even a hold up to having one dog, grab each end and then play tug-of-war with it. These guys can Easily go through A cow huff every day, but these toys are still going strong

Not a chew toy

This is not for a voracious chewer...not durable. My dog destroyed in a matter of minutes, so the cost was high compared to the time it lasted. Maybe my expectation was too high but was disappointed in this product.

The ONLY Bones/Chews Dog-Approved in Our House!
Flavor Name: Original Jerky, Size: X-Large
We have 2 purebred pitbulls, both adult males who weigh between 75-80 pounds. We bought a huge assortment of bones, treats, and chews when we first got our boys (they're rescues, and we got them at the same time). They strongly favored these Marrowchews, even over other, imitation products of different brands.
We actually didn't know they had marrow INSIDE the bones for quite some time, and as soon as we realized that, we understood why our dogs loved them so much! The way the marrow is embedded in the bone, but a ways in from either end, is really clever. The dogs can surely smell it long before they can taste it, and it seems to keep them really interested and motivated at first. Then, they get to the actual marrow, and they are working on these bones non-stop until it's completely gone. The way they are made is also really unique; they sort of 'splinter' as they get chewed, and it actually helps with doggie dental care, cleaning the teeth and massaging the gums. There is no mess with these bones, no pieces flaking or chunking off, anything like that. They are also completely odor-free. With other bones/chews, they'll start them, but lose interest really quickly, and never so much as look at those again. These specific Marrowchews are truly the ONLY ones that keep our dogs interested, and for a significant amount of time, too. They'll work on the XL sizes daily throughout the day for a total of 1-2 hours, and they last a couple of months, easily. And keep in mind, these are pretty
aggressive chewers!
HIGHLY recommend these, and the price on Amazon is the best anywhere!
