Philodendron Brasil Mounted Wall Plant

Bring the beauty of the rainforest into your home with this handcrafted Philodendron Brasil Mounted Wall Plant. Mounted on natural cork bark, this living wall sculpture transforms a classic trailing houseplant into a striking piece of botanical art. Its cascading vines and vibrant variegated foliage create movement, texture, and color, making it an eye-catching addition to any wall.

In nature, Philodendrons are epiphytes, meaning they grow attached to trees in tropical rainforests rather than rooted in the ground. Their roots anchor to bark and absorb moisture and nutrients from the surrounding environment. Mounting plants to cork bark mimics this natural growth habit while showcasing the plant in a way that feels both artistic and true to nature. Cork bark is prized for its beautiful texture, lightweight nature, and exceptional durability. Naturally resistant to rot and decay, it performs well in humid environments and can withstand years of watering without breaking down. Its antimicrobial properties also help create a healthy mounting surface, making cork bark one of the most trusted materials for displaying epiphytic plants.

Philodendron Brasil is known for its striking heart-shaped leaves splashed with shades of lime, chartreuse, and deep green. Named for the colors of the Brazilian flag, this fast-growing trailing plant is widely considered one of the easiest and most beginner-friendly houseplants available. Beloved for its forgiving nature, beautiful variegation, and ability to thrive in a wide range of indoor conditions, it is an excellent choice for both new and experienced plant owners. As it matures, its cascading vines create an increasingly dramatic display, making it especially well-suited for mounted and vertical plant displays.

Light

  • Bright, indirect light

  • Tolerates low to medium light conditions

  • Brighter light will encourage faster growth and stronger variegation

  • Avoid prolonged direct sun, which can scorch the leaves

Water

  • Water when the moss feels light and begins to dry

  • Remove from the wall and either soak the moss for 10–15 minutes or run water over the moss in a sink or shower until it becomes soft and fully saturated again

  • Allow excess water to drain before rehanging

Humidity

  • Prefers moderate to high humidity

  • Adaptable to typical household humidity levels

Size

  • The mounted plant pictured measures approximately 15" H × 9" W

  • Vines may be trained around the mount or allowed to trail naturally

  • Each piece of cork bark is naturally unique, so the size, shape, and overall appearance of your mounted plant will vary

  • Your piece will be similar in scale and style to the one shown, but no two are exactly alike

  • Natural variations in cork bark, plant growth, and vine length are part of what makes each mounted wall plant one of a kind

Each mounted plant is handcrafted using natural cork bark and living plants, making every piece truly one of a kind. As your Philodendron grows and trails, it will continue to evolve, creating an ever-changing piece of living wall décor.

Neurospicy and queer spicy
Format: Paperback
I absolutely love this book. If you're looking for lesbian, spicy love but realistic with healthy relationship principles, and relatable neurodivergent characters, you'll love it too.

Didn't Win the Lottery This Time...
Format: Kindle
When most people think of winning the lottery, they think their life is going in a positive direction. They think their life has changed for the better. But for Opal, she feels like her life has been ruined. Immediately, Opal is bombarded with people holding their hand out asking for money and favors, and Opal does not say no. Her relationships with her "friends" has changed to the point she's ready to run. Her job leaves her miserable daily so she quits. Next thing Opal knows, she's buying a flower farm that she finds online and moving states to live in peace to start her dream painting business. When she arrives at the farm, Opal's fresh start is interrupted by a woman claiming that the farm is hers, not Opal's. This book has a wild setup that I was all in for. I suspended my belief and dived in, ready for Mazey Eddings' typical humor and sweet moments with the characters, Being my fourth book read by Eddings, I was ready to fall in love with yet another set of characters and continue my theory that Eddings is writing all her books in the same world (more on that later!) Unfortunately, this is currently my least favorite of Eddings' books, bumping her YA novel up in the ranking. Despite the writing feeling familiar, the usual shenanigans, complex characters with representation (ADHD, autism, abandonment/neglect issues, grief), and spice that I expect from Eddings being included, I did not feel the same connection and emotional investment in the characters or the story. I was not itching to read this in one sitting or tabbing every line. Instead, I was cringing, even rolling my eyes at some points, and ready to move onto another book. I was left feeling underwhelming and wondering what was missing. Remember when I said I had a theory that some authors write their series set in the same world but don't always announce them to be companion or spin-off series? Well, Mazey Eddings is a fan of Taylor Swift and many Swift fans know, she's one for Easter eggs and hints. So, it would not surprise me if Mazey did the same. Sure enough, there is some dialogue between the characters about a certain bakery (Lizzie Blake's Best Mistake) that confirmed my theories and I squealed, immediately highlighting the section. Now if I could get all her characters in the same room...

quality
Format: Hardcover
This is a fun collection of stories. as with anything Mignola, of course I'd love that the publisher packed a few more into the mix, but for what is there, it's an entertaining read. The art is typical Mignola. I love his style, but I can't lie that SOMETIMES my eyes get lost trying to make out the context of the image. Not a criticism, but a personal shortcoming. Regardless, it's a beautifully rendered book with some brief stories.

SOME OF MIGNOLA'S BEST WORK!!
Format: Hardcover, Format: Hardcover
This book is astonishing! I've always been a big fan of mignola's work, but this one really caught me by surprise. I was expecting something like The Amazing Screw-on-Head, which is a phenomenal read! Great characters, a wonderful story steeped in gothic lore, and amazing art like only Mignola can provide. However, this book did all of that and more! In these pages, he's created an entire world filled people, creatures, and lands unknown! All in that signature dark but playful Mignola style. Beautiful and riveting ❤️. I'm such a fan, and I'm looking forward to visiting this bizarre and far off place again.
