The statue was a gift from the people of France to the United States and was dedicated on October 28, 1886. It was designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, with the framework created by Gustave Eiffel, the renowned engineer behind the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The statue is made of copper sheets, which have oxidized over time, giving it its distinct greenish color known as patina. It stands at a height of approximately 305 feet (93 meters) from the base to the tip of the torch and weighs around 225 tons. Visitors can access the statue by taking a ferry from Battery Park in Manhattan, New York. Once on Liberty Island, visitors can explore the grounds, learn about the statue’s history at the museum, and ascend to the crown or the pedestal observation deck for panoramic views of the New York City skyline.

These balls were almost exactly what I needed. I was replacing my boy’s favorite ball, which is the 3” squeaky, spikey ball that fits in the chuck it launcher. Unfortunately I saw the shiny object next to it and because there were SIX balls and a dollar less, I failed to see that these are 3.5” balls instead of 3”…. Great balls but no fitty in the slingy. Buyer beware. No chuck it no problem. Save a buck.

However, any balls that have material on them, BamBam will tear them apart, swallow the material and then get an upset tummy! These balls saved the day!
