Dauwd delivers his third EP on Kompakt since 2014, and takes a detour from melodic techno in a direction that is most certain to appeal to the purist house heads. "Jupiter George" picks it's way through the finest moments of early '80s disco, recalling what Metro Area accomplished in their brightest moments. "Ritter Sport" must be some celebratory reference to Dauwd's move to Berlin, but, more importantly, it's walloping fist-to-the-floor house track. You can't deny the Herbert-esque swing that pulses through this jam. "Take Four" is that sunrise serenade a dancefloor begs for to beckon in a new day.
