The cover (high grade excellent condition with only minor flaws), magazine with rules attached (high grade excellent condition with very glossy pages and no marks, stains, etc.), full-color map 34"x22" (high grade excellent condition with some creasing in the border area at one edge, a small amount of minor fold wear, and the minor creasing common to S&T maps caused by the folding process), and 200 counters (unpunched and in new condition) are all in high grade excellent condition to new condition.

Feature article and game on the battle of Cropredy Bridge June 29, 1644 where Charles I, the King of England fought the Parliamentarian Rebels under Sir William Waller and the Earl of Essex. The game is a regimental simulation of the musket-and-pike engagement. Examines the use of combined forces (musket, pike, and cavalry). While a tactical victory for King Charles I, he did not follow through to attempt a decisive victory - ultimately losing the First English Civil War.
