Catlin's Giant Bugleweed is a perennial plant known for its large, glossy, dark burgundy leaves and spikes of blue flowers that bloom in the spring. This plant is quite adaptable and can grow in a variety of conditions, but it prefers partial to full shade and well-drained soil.
One of the advantages of Catlin's Giant Bugleweed is its fast growth rate and spreading habit, making it an excellent choice for filling in bare spots in your garden or for preventing soil erosion on slopes. However, it's also important to monitor its spread to ensure it doesn't become invasive.
This plant is also deer-resistant and attracts butterflies, making it a great addition to a wildlife-friendly garden.
