Sapele, one of the most popular tonewoods in the Ibanez acoustic lineup, is incredibly similar to mahogany both sonically and visually. The warmth and balance of sapele pairs excellently with singers and songwriters; add the spruce top into the mix and this acoustic-electric bass projects ample articulation. Ibanez electronics with built-in tuner
The Ibanez AEGB30ENTG has an under-saddle pickup that runs into Ibanez’s AEQ-2T preamp. This preamp has a volume knob with bass and treble controls for crafting the perfect plugged-in sound. The simple controls make it easy to dial in the perfect tone. Simply drop your 9-volt battery into the control plate on the upper bout, and you’re ready to go.
