Tasting Notes
Palate
Great natural acidity balances the fruit sweetness, resulting in a generous, mouthfilling Riesling.
Winemakers comments
In the winery, we seek to translate the balance and vibrance of the fruit to the wines - using minimal intervention winemaking techniques to ensure that the wine reflects the geology, climate and location of our vineyard, in a true preservation of Terroir.
Food matching
Cries out for spicy, bold flavours like lemon-grass prawn skewers grilled over charcoal, or a briney oyster with a lime vinegrette.
Vintage notes
2024 was a delightful change from the cool and wet vintages of 2021-2023, yielding ripe, balanced fruit that produced a flavour packed Riesling redolant of exotic citrus and blossoms.
Variety: Shiraz/Syrah
Region: Canberra District, NSW
Winemaker: Chris Carpenter
