On June 19, 1865, a group of enslaved men, women, and children in Texas gathered around a Union solder and listened as he read the most remarkable words they would ever hear. They were no longer enslaved: they were free. The inhumane practice of forced labor with no pay was now illegal in all of the United States. This news was cause for celebration, so the group of people jumped in excitement, danced, and wept tears of joy. They did not know it at the time, but their joyous celebration of freedom would become a holiday--Juneteenth--that is observed each year by more and more Americans.
Author Kirsti Jewel shares stories from Juneteenth celebrations, both past and present, and chronicles the history that led to the creation of this joyous day.

Honored the no lemon policy
3 attempts to repair my sons' Xbox. Took a lot of chats (a few strangely disconnected), a few calls and some pursuasion, but Asurion finally honored the terms of the agreement and refunded my purchase. You need to be aggressive with then though....

Asurion did what they said they would do. Couldn’t fix it so they replaced it.
My hubby cracked his 10 inch truck garmin by accident and assuring replaced it with no problems. They sent me an e-gift card and I purchased another one. I had to pay like $15 out of my pocket but it sure was better than 600.

Excellent, prompt, zero hassle protection
I purchased a nice 3D printer for my grandson. He was thrilled and he and his dad used it frequently. The printer developed a serious problem but, thankfully, I had also purchased a three-year protection plan with Asurion. We shipped the printer to Asurion via UPS since they readily agreed to repair it or refund the purchase price. After only a few days, Asurion emailed me that the printer was not repairable. They sent me a link that enabled me to send the full purchase price to my Amazon account. I used it to purchase another printer. I am happy and my grandson is thrilled! I should add that the extended protection did not cover sales tax, nor did it cover shipping cost.
