This dye can be used to label primary amines on proteins, cells, or viruses, creating stable conjugates that fluoresce only in acidic environments. Our low-background pH630 Deep Red dye simplifies the study of internalization processes, yielding more reliable results with less optimization, as it is activated only in late endosomes and lysosomes. With excitation and emission maxima at approximately 640 nm and 655 nm, respectively, pH630 Deep Red can be detected using standard Cy5 filters.
