"The second volume of Water and Rock Music by British guitarist Jon Collin is another solid gambol in the outdoors. For much of this it sounds almost as though Mr. Collin is wearing a pair of hip waders and is up to his ass in a stream, casting for notes the way Hemingway casted for trout. His string bending recalls Loren Connors at points, but he has a manual approach to filigree Loren has never displayed. Notes bend and hover, but they also flutter, and the combination of sounds is not quite like anything that's preceded it. Some listeners have noted that the environmental sounds put them in mind of new age string pluckers, but Collin's compositions do not fall into the trap of needing to resolve melodic quandaries, or making gestures that chase after standard forms of beauty. Jon's music works as a series of comments on sound and questions about the physical space in which it's created, but like any good philosopher he knows when to leave a sense of mystery hanging in the air. There is plenty of sweetness to the playing here, whether he's strolling through a playground, standing in the middle of a busy street, or sitting the flight path of an airport. The music never seems dictated by the background sounds, so much as it encourages us to consider every part of the sonic construction to be heard as music (in the Cage-ian sense). The elements become a part of the greater whole in a seamless way. And the closer you listen the more that becomes clear. I am still most struck by (at least what sounds like) the 'stream' sequences. But that's just because I really like the visuals it conjures up. You may find different personal sweet spots. But find them you will. Great shorts but that tag...
I would give these shorts 5 stars if I wasn't insulted by the tag. They're durable, lightweight, comfortable, and they fit perfectly. I've had them for more than a year and they still look and feel like brand new. I bought two pairs but I will never buy anything from this vendor again. The size I ordered was 2x. Look at the tag. Way to go guys. Thanks for instilling confidence and buffing my self esteem. Hey Amazon, I went back to add something and you chopped me in half. I went from 6 foot tall to 3 and it won't let me fix that. Please take care of this error.

Great for Camping
I bought these for my kids to use when camping. They loved them. They are very lightweight and comfortable. They dry quickly also. Sizes are strange. Ordered a 32-34 on one of them and it said 3X on the tag, but they did fit like the proper size. My kids liked the zippers on them also. Good price too.

Not bad for mountain biking.
Although these are not categorized as mountain biking shorts, I bought them specifically for that purpose when riding on hot summer days. It is a well-made apparel with high quality material and accurate sizing. I've worn it on countless rides and has held up very well. Despite the number of wash cycles these have gone through it hasn't shrunk, faded or ripped. It still looks and feel as it did when new. Overall, I’m satisfied with these shorts and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for mountain biking or any other outdoor sports you may be into.

Takes a Licking and Keeps on Ticking

I love this watch despite the fact that it is really a toy. I love the look of the watch, I love how lite the weight of the watch is on my wrist, and it really does keep good time if you manage the solar charge properly. Other than looking cool on your wrist, this watch has absolutely no functions other than time keeping. The black plastic bezel is molded into the case and does not turn, so don't plan on using that. The watch has no light, the dial numbers are non-luminous and the hands are very limited in terms of luminosity. No buttons. All you can do is adjust the time and date by pulling out what used to be a winding stem in the good old days.
The small tag on the strap with Geographic coordinates shown on it indicate the location of the old Timex manufacturing facility (SW of Waterbury, CT).
I have a nice ledge at my bedroom window and it gets good western sun for a good part of the day regardless of the time of year. On this ledge you will find a half dozen solar powered watches (mostly Casio) properly aligned to maximize the charge they may receive each day. Note that the description for this Timex watch specifically states that a lightbulb won't charge this watch. You need direct sunlight for several hours if you want to get more than a 3-week charge into this watch.
So, I'll leave you with a couple of tips, my friends; 1.) If you are looking for a first watch to give your outdoorsy oriented Son or Daughter, then give them this one. Why? Because it is cool looking, fairly well built, and it actually works, 2.) After you receive your Timex watch, be sure to keep the display mount it is packaged with. It makes a great fixture to mount your watch on for charging and allows you to maximize the position of the solar cells on the dial so that you can optimize charging time.
