Presented here is the next chapter in the history of Faruk Green keyboardist and co-founder Jeff Ozdemir: a compilation of soulful pop- and electronic-inspired music. Ozdemir, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer, owns the independent record store 33rpm Store in Berlin and runs the label 33rpm Records with some of his friends. The record store has become part of Ozdemir's own musical education, a place to experiment and discover new sounds and new bands. Over the years, his broad exposure to different eras and genres of music has had a strong influence on what he produces. And it's these kinds of influences you'll hear on Jeff Ozdemir & Friends, in the chords, rhythms, atmospheres, production styles, and sound aesthetics. A colorful mix of all decades, continents, tempos, and genres, with some fierce micro-grooves. The album includes solo tracks and a handful of collaborations. Faruk Green, Ozdemir, and the whole local urban music scene around them are geographically located between the German cities of Bremerhaven, Hamburg, and Berlin, but the dots connect across the globe, in a network that reaches all the way to Vienna, Metz, Helsinki, Istanbul, Minneapolis, Michigan, and Ghana. This compilation is an eclectic and unique album for people who like jazz-funk, indie, the German language, strings, record stores, vinyl, movie soundtracks, Moog's, and pop vocals. Does the job.

Nice product

when having guests over, it's nice for each one to use their own towel instead of having a 'community' guest towel, or those fancy ones that people feel guilty using. This solved the problem.

Colorful and Vivid
Format: Hardcover
This picture book features vivid cut-paper illustrations that visualize the concrete images in the poetic text. I found aspects of the poem abstract enough that I'm not sure if young children would connect with it, but they can enjoy the rhythmic language and emphasis on phonic sounds related to the letter "O," even if some of the abstract thought is beyond them. The vivid and colorful pages will definitely appeal to both children and adults, and the book has a nice message about hope and God's love.
Throughout the book, the letter "O" appears in different colors, and the note at the beginning of the book encourages children to find things in the illustration that start with that letter. Children could also count how many times the letter appears in the text. This would be a great choice for Christian families, churches, and Christian preschools, and would combine very well with a cut-paper craft for kids to do. The author's note also includes some open-ended discussion questions that adults can use with children.
