Art panel side edges are veneered with maple hardwood and finely sanded. There is no plywood edge to be seen on the sides.
Art Boards™ Maple Uncradled Art Panels have dovetail hanging slots routed into the back. Art will hang perfectly flush to the wall without the need of framing.
There are no formaldehydes added to any of the art panel's materials. There will be no out gassing onto the art, or the environment.
The panel has a 5 layer void free construction. Each layer is glued, pressed, and laminated using a formaldehyde free adhesive.
The rigid maple painting surface is finely sanded and perfect for all painting mediums including: oils, acrylics, egg tempera, encaustic, pastels, frescoes, colored pencil, charcoal, pastels, gouache, Collage, airbrush, mounting of prints, works on paper, icons, mosaics, and more.
