Designed for content creators needing strong stills and video performance, the second-generation Panasonic S5 Mark II Mirrorless Camera is equipped with a host of new features to bring your vision to life. Benefitting from a new sensor design and an updated processing engine with L2 technology, the S5 Mark II is the first Lumix camera to offer Phase Hybrid AF for fast and precise autofocusing performance. Making full use of the 24.2MP sensor and enhanced processor, this camera records 6K video for up to 30 minutes, while unlimited 4K video capture is available as well. Optimized for video, the S5 Mark II is also equipped with a new Active I.S. system, which supports walking shots to further enhance image stabilization while recording video.
Lumix has long supported hand-held shooting with B.I.S. and 5-Axis Dual I.S.2, and now the Lumix S5II is equipped with Active I.S., which supports walking shots, to further enhance image stabilization in video recording. By determining the status of camera shake and optimizing correction ratios, the system can compensate for even significant camera shake, approximately 200%* more than conventional systems.
4:2:2 10-bit C4K/4K 60p/50p unlimited recording time.* With a compact body equivalent to the S5, the S5 Mark II's optimized heat dissipation path and heat dissipation structure with forced cooling fan enables extended recording even when shooting at heavy loads (e.g. high-resolution video over 4K, HFR video).

The camera can be used in a wide range of weather conditions. The durable magnesium alloy full die-cast frame and sealing of all joints, dials, and buttons make it dust- and splash-resistant*.

The most important thing in autofocus is to be dependable. The new Phase Hybrid AF delivers speed and accuracy to help you capture the target subject even in the most challenging scenes where multiple subjects are involved, and even in backlit or low-light environments.
The intuitive, well-calculated layout and 8-directional joystick allow you to select the focus area intuitively with simple, one-thumb operation for speedy shooting.
