What is Nuvo WindStars?

Written by Brittany Bauman and edited by Robert Sheldon, the WindStars Series is a simple, effective, and affordable way for elementary school kids to experience the joy of playing music together. Through WindStars, children learn to play a musical instrument and develop a life-long love of music at an early age. WindStars is a 3-level, book based program with supporting materials including videos, backing tracks and print files available to download for free at Nuvo WindStars. The instructional videos are also available on the WindStars YouTube channel.

Designed to support teachers

The WindStars curriculum has been completely designed with teachers in mind, even if the teacher is not a woodwind or brass specialist – the teacher book and website will tell you everything you need to know! This flexible general music teaching method can be adapted to work alongside any existing music program, or as a standalone complete package. The methodology takes a standards-based, whole child approach with a focus on engaging and joyful musical experiences coupled with transferable instrumental skills which will be useful in later musical life.

WindStars 1: The first of the series

Designed for ages 5-9, with an emphasis on Sound Before Sight. Level 1 books are written for the Dood and Toot instruments. Written for the general music classroom, level one encourages students to learn by ear as much as possible. This level is available in either standard or iconic notation. Students will use instruments to explore their own musical creativity, develop fine and gross motor skills, and proper playing techniques.

Lightweight, accurate, and perfect for everyday use
Color: Stainless Steel, Size: Medium Size
This kitchen scale is a great tool for anyone doing meal prep, baking, or tracking food. It’s lightweight and compact, so it doesn’t take up much space and is easy to store when not in use. Accuracy is spot on—it measures consistently in grams and ounces, which is perfect for portion control and precise recipes. The tare function works smoothly, making it easy to weigh multiple ingredients in one container. The stainless steel surface is a nice touch—it looks clean and is easy to wipe down after use. The display is clear and easy to read, even in lower light. For the price, it’s hard to beat. It does exactly what you need without any unnecessary extras. Pros: -Lightweight and compact -Accurate and consistent measurements -Easy-to-use tare function -Stainless steel surface (easy to clean) -Great value Cons: -Small size may not fit very large bowls -Basic features (no advanced tracking) Overall: A reliable, no-frills kitchen scale that gets the job done. Perfect for meal prep, dieting, and everyday cooking.

Great quality, durable, easy to clean, light. Super easy to use. Love the color, really helps me see if I got it fully clean. Numbers are perfect size and not too dim/bright to read. Mine has lasted around 2 years with weekly use and have had no problems

Strong and reliable disposable forks for parties
I bought these Amazon Basics disposable clear plastic forks for a recent gathering and was impressed by their quality. They have a sturdy, thick construction that doesn't bend or snap easily, even when cutting through steak or other firm foods. The simple clear design looks elegant and fits any table setting, making them ideal for parties, picnics, or office events. The 100-count pack ensures I always have plenty on hand, and they come neatly packed for easy storage. Overall, these forks are a cost-effective and convenient alternative to washing real silverware without sacrificing performance.
