How to install Lenovo PM1733a

Installing the PM1733a is straightforward in compatible ThinkSystem servers or other enterprise platforms that support 2.5-inch NVMe drives. Begin with standard safety procedures: power down the server, unplug power sources, and discharge static electricity before handling components. Identify the correct drive bay or hot-swap cage in your storage array or server chassis that supports 2.5-inch NVMe devices. Remove the bay cover or tray as required and align the PM1733a with the connector interface inside the slot. Gently slide the drive into the NVMe slot until it seats fully, then secure it with the drive tray screws or retention mechanism specified by your enclosure. Reattach the bay if applicable and reconnect power and data paths. Power on the system and enter the server’s firmware or BIOS to confirm the device is detected and operational. In the operating system, initialize the drive using your storage management software or OS disk utility, create a suitable volume, and format it with the appropriate filesystem for your workload. If you plan to enable hardware encryption, configure the SED policy and encryption keys through your management console or security framework. For data-center deployments, ensure firmware is up to date and apply any Lenovo ThinkSystem software updates to optimize performance and reliability. If you’re deploying in a storage array or hyper-converged environment, follow the vendor’s guidance for tiering, caching strategies, and NVMe namespace configuration to maximize throughput and minimize latency.

Best practices for installation also include validating thermal performance and ensuring adequate airflow around the drive. Read-intensive workloads can produce sustained activity, so verify that your chassis fans and rack cooling meet the thermal envelope requirements. For enterprise deployments, keep a spare PM1733a on hand to facilitate hot-swapping and maintain service-level commitments without interrupting production workloads. The PM1733a is designed to integrate smoothly with Lenovo ThinkSystem controllers and management tools, offering predictable performance across a range of read-heavy scenarios while simplifying fleet-wide monitoring and firmware updates.

Get this if you draw, write, play touch games
Model: iPad Pro 11,iPad Air 5th/4th
The quality of the screen protector is great, easy to put on without the video. i love how it really feels like writing on paper with my pen especially drawing. I will definitely be buying more for myself, mother and siblings. It’s a good fit for my iPad Air 4th gen and a bang for the buck

Good but Installation was a Bit Iffy
Model: iPad A16 11th/10th/Air 11
90% of the time I use my iPad for school. Originally, I used just a regular screen protector, but it would get dirty with smudges and imprints from my Apple Pencil, and there would be a lot of glare since I'm in a classroom most of the time, which would make it awkward to see what I was writing at times. Plus, the screen protector was too smooth so it would actually be difficult to write legibly. This product makes it a lot easier to write smoother on the iPad. I only just installed it, so I can't say much on the smear protection yet, but I can already see the reduction in glare as well. For $8, getting a pack of two of these with an install kit is a very nice deal imo. My only issue was the installation process, which could've been as much my own fault tbh, but I felt like I aligned the screen protector pretty well with the sticker, however the first time I tried installing it it was way off the center (maybe my case got in the way?). The biggest issue was using the squeegee to pop air bubbles, and this is something they don't mention in neither their instruction guide nor video, but you're supposed to used the velvet red side, not the naked white side: using the white side actually takes the grit off the protector, which is obviously something you don't want on a product that relies on it. Thankfully I have another one in reserve in case this one wears off sooner than expected.

Perfect Paperlike substitute
Model: iPad Air/Pro 13
I’ve been using this screen for roughly two months now and I can say it was so worth it, it is rough on plastic nibs! I am going to order some heavier duty ones and see how it fairs! It works just fine ON TOP of a screen protector isn’t that great! I wanted something like paper like but didn’t want to pay that expensive price for something I wasn’t sure I was going to like. This one does the trick and gives me just enough resistance to feel more in control of my pen! It fits well just make sure to know the size if your screen I had to modify where the camera indent was but it cut just fine and looks great!

Wow! So cheap and really high quality!
Model: iPad Air/Pro 13
Very nice texture, affordable, durable, easy to mount. No longer get tons of grease marks from my hands, the glare is reduced, it fits the screen perfectly, there’s no tint to the color so it doesn’t distort the image. Great product for a great price.

Feels like paper and makes writing fun!
Model: iPad A16 11th/10th/Air 11
I was hesitant to start using my iPad for class because I HATED how my Apple Pencil sounded hitting the screen while I was writing. This product has completely changed my mind and now I use it almost daily! I love the feel of this screen and it has lasted all semester long. It was a little tricky getting the screen on just right, and I had to use both because the first time I had a bunch of air bubbles, but the second time was perfect! I think you would probably want to get a new screen every year to ensure it still has that paper-like feel, but I think that’s totally reasonable!
