I listen to a lot of new records, I’ll listen to anything & then something stands out that makes me go back & keep putting it on the turntable again. Vocally Thee Headshrinkers remind me a lot of the late Mark. E. Smith from The Fall, that spoken word “I can’t change a thing, & I don’t give a shit” narrating emotions over a hypnotic garage beat that sounds like it’s been recorded through a pipe punched in the side of the wall. A run through side one & flick over to side 2…. no filler, & you’re looking for indoor plants to smoke as you convulse with this unrestrained pure street filth that is just so great. I really like this record & I still think Property Of The Lost might just well be pumping out some of the best shit from the UK.  The King might be dead, but great Rock n Roll lives forever!
