This product can be utilized when introducing new fish into an aquarium—especially to ease their adjustment from store to home—and in cases where an infection is suspected but not yet identified. Many fish from pet stores may carry diseases at the time of purchase, which can be challenging to identify in the early stages.
API MELAFIX fish remedy is safe for your biological filter, will not change the pH levels, and will not discolor your aquarium water.
- Administer 5 ml for every 10 gallons of aquarium water.
- For treating disease or wounds, apply daily for 7 days. After a week, perform a 25% water change.
- If needed, continue the treatment.
- For introducing new fish, administer daily for 3 days.
