"We were first made aware of this Brooklyn band by Gary Panter. When we asked Gary about some specific projectors for light shows, he said we'd be best off conferring with his colleague, Curtis Godino. And oh yeah, Curtis also helmed a dastardly psychedelic music unit called Worthless. Checking out some of Worthless's previous recordings for Beyond Is Beyond, Stupid Head, and Greenway, we were struck by the weirdness and seamlessness of their psych stretching; if ever there was music made for light shows, this was pretty much it. The Cave is Worthless' third vinyl LP and is as stellar a set of glistening sonics as you will hear this year. In a certain sense, this session marks the band's evolution in a direction that approaches the sweet spot with psychedelic and progressive music meet for long walks on the beach. The overall vibe of the album is free-form and floating, with the edges of the aural tapestry going in and out of focus with buzzing irregularity. There are big shards of Saucerful-era Floyd guitar zonerism, mixed with luminous Zappa-damaged pomp flourishes, a certain chunk of drama from the Nice, and a general sort of Vertigo/Dawn/Harvest gush that will keep your brain wonderfully off balance when you try to place this music in the context 21st century Brooklyn. The (often instrumental) passages of music on The Cave move like one of the nicest white whales from the class of '68, who has managed to remain uncaptured until now. It doesn't fall into any known style traps so common in music by young people who are reaching back into history for clues. This is music sweetly fried for the stoned future. Yours, we can only hope." -Byron Coley, 2019 Edition of 250.

Pros and cons at once
It smooths and brightens my skin, but it’s not very moisturizing, so I have to reapply it frequently. Expensive too

Excellent choice for a gentle daily lotion
I have dry, mature skin, so I’m always looking for a lotion that actually hydrates without feeling heavy or irritating. I’ve been using the Koji White Body Lotion and it’s been a really nice addition to my routine. The formula feels lightweight but still moisturizing enough for my dry skin. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a sticky or greasy film, which I really appreciate. I like that it contains kojic acid and papaya extract. Over time my skin has looked a bit smoother and more even, and it definitely feels softer after applying. The lotion is pH balanced and free from parabens and artificial dyes, which makes it gentle enough for everyday use on my more mature, sensitive skin. Another thing I enjoy is the light, pleasant scent, it’s subtle and fresh without being overpowering. Overall, it keeps my skin feeling hydrated, nourished, and comfortable throughout the day, and I’ve had no irritation. It’s a good daily lotion if you want something moisturizing with skin brightening ingredients that still feels gentle.

Silky, Effective Body Lotion With Strong Scent
In the winter, my skin is prone to becoming very dry and flaky. I ordered this "Kojic Acid & Papaya Body Lotion - Exfoliating, Hydrating, Moisturizing, Skin Care for Sun-Damaged Skin" by Koji White hoping it could help keep my skin from feeling dry and itchy. I ordered this lotion in mid Dec 2025, and the bottle is labeled with a manufacturing date in late Oct 2025 and an expiration date of Oct 2028. I’d consider this a very fresh product. The pump works smoothly, and I didn’t have any trouble getting it to dispense lotion. The label lists Thailand as the country of manufacture. I also liked that the listing describes the product as vegan and free of animal testing. I’ve been vegetarian for about 30 years, so this matters to me. I’m aroma sensitive, and this lotion lists fragrance as one of the ingredients, which is always a gamble for me. I definitely detect tropical fruity notes, and papaya is listed in both the name and ingredient list. There’s also a noticeable floral scent. I don’t usually like floral fragrances, but the fruity and floral scents complement each other fairly well. Unfortunately, the scent is much stronger than I prefer and seems to linger. I really like how this lotion feels on my skin. It’s a little less creamy than I expected given how hydrating it is, but it applies smoothly and evenly. It absorbs quickly without leaving my skin feeling sticky or greasy. My skin feels hydrated and silky smooth after applying, and it’s made a noticeable difference in how the skin on my legs looks and feels. Unfortunately, I’ve only been able to use it on my legs when I’m wearing pants because the fragrance is too intense for me. I love the results and wish I could comfortably use it all over. Overall, I really like this lotion. It has everything I look for to help prevent dry winter skin. The only drawback for me is that it’s more heavily scented than I prefer. At the time of my order, the 250 ml (8.45 oz) bottle cost $20. Given the quality and performance, that feels like a good value. For people who enjoy more strongly scented products, this lotion could be an excellent choice. Since fragrance preference is so personal, I won’t be deducting any stars from my rating.
