As it cures, Plast-Aid transitions from a pourable liquid to a glue, then to a putty, and finally to a moldable clay. Within approximately 10 minutes, it hardens into a durable, waterproof acrylic plastic that can be sanded, drilled, or filed.
Unlike fiberglass or epoxy, Plast-Aid is easy to work with and safe to handle. It can be pre-colored with artist acrylic paints for cosmetic repairs and will adhere to damp PVC fittings.
