The “We Train to Buy” initiative is a comprehensive and highly specialised training program designed for farmers, entrepreneurs, and organisations. Simply put, Green Route Hemp Industries train interested attendees how to grow Hemp for Textiles, the attendees grow to their specification, and they buy and pay based on the quality of crop supplied as an accredited and trained farmer.
It provides a step-by-step learning experience starting from hemp cultivation, processing to the stages of textile manufacturing. The farmer will need their own hemp permit to grow under the Department of Agriculture and the PIA.
Course Info:
- Course Duration: 1 Day Live Demo from 9am - 2pm: Hands-on activities during a physical classroom & farm visit showcasing Hemp cultivation, Harvesting, Retting, and basic Primary processing methods.
- Course Outcome: GRHI Certification & Farmer Membership + Workbook/information pack + Light snacks & refreshments included
