Introducing the Men's Makalu GORE-TEX® Pants from Mountain Equipment, high-performance waterproof legwear for all year-round mountain pursuits. Crafted from 75 denier breathable GORE-TEX® ePE fabric these pants strike the perfect balance between durability, comfort, and weight. The 3-layer construction with 75D face fabric withstands the harshest conditions of mountain rock, heavy packs, and severe weather while remaining flexible. The articulated knees and gusseted crotch enable unrestricted movement, leaving you free to focus on the terrain ahead, while reinforcement on the knees and seat add protection for more demanding scrambling and climbing.
Two-way ¾ length side zips, backed by an internal storm flap, allow the pants to be pulled on quickly in the face of unpredictable weather, even over boots or crampons and provide useful ventilation during long and sweaty ascents. Adjustable hems can be sealed around boots to prevent water ingress when walking over wet ground or through snow. The Men's Makalu Pants from Mountain Equipment are the ultimate trousers for all mountain pursuits, no matter the season.
