The CXL12A is a coaxial stage monitor designed specifically for live sound, although the very compact, low-profile enclosure also makes it suitable for theatre and television applications. The combination of a high-performance coaxial transducer, a carefully designed cabinet, and powerful electronics provides very high SPL before feedback and excellent intelligibility even at very high power.
The transducer’s coaxial design offers a very stable acoustical pattern in both the horizontal and vertical axes. The very compact, single magnet neodymium motor reduces the delay between the two sources, eliminating time and phase problems, and guarantees high performance with a consistent weight reduction.
The high frequency range is reproduced by a low-distortion compression driver equipped with a 1.7” aluminium voice coil and polyimide diaphragm. The custom designed horn provides a precise and controlled dispersion of 50° horizontal and 70° vertical, allowing an excellent performance at close listening distance and, at the same time, a consistent off-axis coverage.
The 12” woofer employed in the reproduction of the low frequency range is equipped with a 2.5” voice coil. Thanks to a special treatment process that makes the cone water repellent, the CXL12A is able to perform in adverse weather conditions and is therefore suitable for outdoor use.

CABINET DESIGN
The reduced size of the Baltic birch cabinet (only 32cm high and 45cm wide) makes the CXL12A a very compact and lightweight stage monitors and makes it suitable for all applications where unobtrusive size is a must. This includes not only live concerts, but also theatre shows and TV applications.
The reduced weight (15 kg) and the handles on both sides of the cabinet make it very easy to transport the monitor and to position it on stage. A convenient dual-angle pole holder allows the CXL12A to be mounted on a standard speaker stand to be used as a multipurpose front of house loudspeaker.
The possibility to position the cabinet with two different angles to the floor (35° and 50°) enables it to be placed at differing distances from the musicians according to the size of the stage and to the kind of monitoring needed.

SYSTEM PROCESSING
The system processing is based on the CORE LT DSP platform designed by the PROEL R&D Laboratories, featuring high-performance signal processing and high-definition 24bit converters, capable to deliver an outstanding sound definition and dynamic performance.
The CORE LT DSP makes it possible to set an optimal time alignment for the crossover filter resulting in a linear phase response. The correct acoustic filtering has been achieved using the Constant Power Crossover technique that, thanks to a particular phase relation, results in a very smooth transition between LF and HF and an even dispersion in the crossover region.
The CORE LT DSP signal processing includes a sophisticated Dynamic EQ, able to shape accurately the system’s sound while maintaining a full dynamic range at any level. In addition the CORE LT DSP offers an extensive dynamic protection to the system, for getting always the maximum undistorted output.
5 EQ PRESETS (NORMAL WEDGE, COUPLED UNITS, LOW CUT, FOH, FOH LOW CUT) can be easily selected to adapt the monitor to different kinds of application, including the use as a front-of-house system.

POWER AMPLIFIER
The CXL12A is powered by a DA Series Class D power amplifier with SMPS. The innovative technology used for these amplifiers offers top-of-the-range performance, such as superior sound definition at any audio frequency, very high dynamics even for low level signals, and very low distortion even at maximum power.
The superior sound quality can be compared with top-of-the-range AB-class analogue systems, while the DA module features higher dynamic range, very compact size, light weight, and efficiency better than 90%. Output power is optimized specifically to the drive units for efficient power transfer, with the low frequency section producing 900 watts and 300 watts being available for the high frequency compression driver. Input and link connections are via balanced 3-pin XLR connectors, and a ground lift switch is provided for hum-free operation. Mains power is connected through a locking Neutrik® powerCON™, and a power out connector allows mains power to be linked to additional CXL12A cabinets.

This man's ability to describe the various monstrosities encountered throughout his journey in such a beautiful, articulate
I found this book, though historic, to be a modern marvel. I find not only the man himself but even more so the writings of Frederick Douglass to be totally FASCINATING! This man's ability to describe the various monstrosities encountered throughout his journey in such a beautiful, articulate, and eloquent way is utterly GENIUS! In reading this timeless masterpiece I discovered that this man bears the unmatched, undisputed spirit of a champion; the undying essence of a true warrior that I'm sure would resonate to any and every reader who would be so bold as to take a glance at the greatness that lies between the pages of this work of genius. This man's profound desire to acquire knowledge and educate himself by whatever means necessary exudes a ground shaking, bone rattling determination as I have scarcely; if at all, ever heard of. Frederick Douglass is to me the epitome of class and integrity and can serve as a role model and an inspiration to anyone in search of an incentive to better themselves, even or ESPECIALLY in the face of adversity. In this BRILLIANT account of his heroic journey from slavery to freedom he bestows a wisdom; a very keen insight, and he embodies an honor, the likes of which I have never seen in ANY other writer. I HIGHLY recommend this book to ANYBODY who is in search of inspiration or just a GREAT read!

Simply the best narrative I have read...
As society moves about, the slavery of the past remains alive and well. "Sweep it under the rug and do not bring it up" is the mindset of many. This type of suppression is often brought about because of the known guilt of an unfair past. American slavery has deep roots, reading the life of Fredrick Douglass, will help unveil some of the true history of America. At one point in the book Douglass realized he had past the time of being an indentured servant and knew that being a slave for life was his fate. He was treated with little if no respect. Douglass described Mr. Severe, one of his "masters", as a man who would whip a slave for almost no reason at all (22). Dougless illustrated that Mr. Severe had no respect for his slaves, but treated them as if they were not human. Many people may think that Douglass story was the exception, but that's not the case. Many times through out the book Douglass spoke of other slave's punishment as far worse than his own. He even recorded the murder of two slaves in Talbot, Maryland and stated that the slave owner never paid for the crime (31-33). This type of abuse almost seems unfathomable, but it's reality. Studying the origins of slavery can allow us to see the disgusting progression of the enslavement of human life and stripping of human character. Douglass' narrative provides the reader with a glimpse into the life of a slave. The emotional state of Douglass was strong, considering the abuse that he underwent during his life. The narrative of Fredrick Douglass is a superb read for anyone wanting to get a first hand understanding of the life of an American slave.

A very important book
This is one of those books that I’ve known for a while that I needed to read, but I expected it to be dark and depressing. It was hard to prepare myself for it. After it had been on my Kindle a while, I decided that I just needed to take the plunge. I’m glad I did. It deals with a very unpleasant aspect of American history, as told by a formerly enslaved man in the 1800s. It’s not a pleasant topic and the author relates it in very neutral terms. He doesn’t involve his own emotions in what he experienced as a child and young man. He doesn’t have to. The evil that was inflicted on him speaks for itself. The book is extremely well written and it goes fast. It’s educational, but it doesn’t read like a school book. I know that this author has written other books and I do intend to read them at some point. Not right now though. It’s an intense read and I need some time to digest it.

But really it is a great, easy and fun read
Most people who pick this up are probably looking for history and possibly race issues. Which since it deals with slavery are there slightly. But really it is a great, easy and fun read. Many people act like they think they know what slavery was like. They act like slaves got whipped daily. This historical account actually verifies some things I thought might be actually going on. Really, just like today, the slave masters wanted to keep the slaves ignorant. Fred talks about how they tried to get the slaves to party and get drunk during holidays and has a solid working theory about the masters motivations for this. However, many times you could tell that slavery was really a system doomed to fail. Without incentivising the workers/slaves the output was minimal. Also, each slave master was different with some being bullies and some trying to be nice to get more work done. I added this book to get the free shipping with another order and as I white guy I thought reading this would be uncomfortable. But Whatever race you are I recommend this as a quick easy and fun read. Fred was an awesome dude who taught himself to read, had a wife became free and wrote a book, and even got in a comical fight with one of his slave masters. I wish more people today were like that guy. I think if he were alive today this guy would be a member of the Libertarian party. He had the type of soul that yearned for freedom.

Tour De Force
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
The book ranks for me as one of the most significant, erudite, thorough and powerfully voiced books ever written on race in America. This a riveting, compelling and excruciating presentation, indictment, and prosecution of "White America" from its inception as a psychopathic and sociopathic construction, which persists into the present. "White" America exists juxtaposed to its violently parasitic extortion of Blackness. While the book makes the case for pathology and sociopathy, no such “racism” diagnosis currently exists in the DSM or WHO-ICD, but such a diagnosis is a logical extension of King’s argument. I bought this book, the workbook and I listened to the audio version - which is an especially rich experience for anyone who is remotely empathic! 350 references alone should intrigue anyone looking for a mother lode of information on the topic! We cannot jump straight to renewal in a United States of America without truth and reconciliation. For us to realize our best days ahead as a nation, the truth presented in The 400 Year Holocaust . . . is foundational reading.
