Lens Construction
The lens construction features four aspherical elements and two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements. The lenses are strategically arranged to significantly reduce the effects of all forms of optical aberration. Along with Sony’s Nano AR Coating, the technology minimises ghosting and flare when working with bright light conditions, such as backlighting.
Versatile Control
The Sony 70-300mm lens features a variety of on-lens control features, including a focus mode switch that allows you to intuitively change between auto and manual focus, a focus-hold button that can hold the focus point even during continuous AF operation, as well as a focus-range limiter switch that can be used to preset a focusing distance range for maximum AF speed.
