WaveLine Headjoint
Unlike the traditional 'J-curve' headjoint, the specially designed WaveLine headjoint provides a few key features that improve the concept of accessible flutes. Firstly, the WaveLine maintains an even-taper and keeps the lip-plate inline with the flute's body, preventing rotation and providing better response and intonation, especially in higher registers. Secondly, this inline design allows young players to maintain correct posture as they transition into traditional 'straight' headjoints. Finally, the WaveLine is much easier to clean than 'J-curve' style headjoints, thanks to the specially designed cleaning rod included in the kit.
Accessibility
The JFL700WD flute is specially designed to be easy to hold and play for all ages. In conjunction with the WaveLine headjoint, the JFL700WD also features offset A, G, F, E and Plateau keys- providing easier fingerings for smaller hands. Perfect for younger players as well as older players who may struggle with posture and holding a flute for longer periods of time.
