Counterbalance Mitts Knitting Kit – Luxury Wensleydale Wool

We’re so excited to offer this beautiful knitting kit, created using the Counterbalance Mitts pattern by Stephanie Lotven - a design we instantly fell in love with and knew had to be paired with our very own yarn.

Our yarn is made from the finest fleeces, carefully washed and spun in Yorkshire. The result?  A truly luxurious DK (worsted weight) yarn that is soft, smooth, and silky, with a beautiful natural lustre.  It's worsted spun which gives excellent stitch definition - perfect for showing off the elegant texture of these mitts.

A stylish and practical pair of mitts—choose between fingerless mitts or full gloves - perfect for gifting or keeping for yourself.

📏 Sizes

This pattern includes three sizes:

• Circumference (both styles):
  14.5cm, 17cm, 19.5cm (5.75", 6.75", 7.75")

• Fingerless mitt length:
  25.5cm (10") for all sizes

• Full glove length:
  32cm, 32.5cm, 34.5cm (12.5", 12.75", 13.25")
  (Sample shown measures 28cm / 10.75")

  • 100g (3.53 oz) for full gloves

  • 75g (2.65 oz) for fingerless mitts

• Home Farm Wensleydales Luxury DK yarn (shown in Arlescote Blush)

• Printed pattern with clear written instructions and chart

• 3.5mm (US 4) DPNs

• 3.25mm (US 3) DPNs

• Medium cable needle

While the sample is shown in Arlescote Blush, you can choose any colour from our Home Farm Wensleydales range to make your mitts uniquely yours.

Hand wash and dry flat to keep your mitts looking their best.
(If you have a modern machine with a dedicated wool cycle, that may also be suitable.)
