The Lovely Eggs are one of the most unique, innovative and genuine bands on the British Underground music scene. Heavier and more in-your-face than anything they've done previously, married couple Holly Ross (guitar/vocals) and David Blackwell (drums) bring together a fierce DIY ethos, surreal sense of humour and kitchen-sink realism. Working with a producer for the very first time, Dave Fridmann (Mercury Rev, The Flaming Lips) lends his magic dust to bring out the best of The Lovely Eggs' explosive blend of motoric krautrock, 60s psychedelia and punk rock attitude, all flipped over and egged up. After drawing up a drunken list of dream producers they wanted to work with, Fridmann was at the top. So began a piece of detective work to find a number for his studio (and after a couple of wrong numbers), they finally left a message on his answer machine. As Holly explains; "I just put it down as another madcap idea to go down in our catalogue of drunken escapades. But one year later we received an email from Dave Fridmann. He had got the answerphone message, listened to our stuff and wanted to work with us. It was just totally bizarre!"The result is a gratifyingly rich sounding record, which still retains the raw energy of the band's sound but harnesses a real power and dynamism. Gave it a Try
I have always used the Chuck It ball and ball launcher. I thought I would try this since the price was better. There is definitely a reason it is priced lower. The handle on this one twists on and constantly comes undone when you throw, and it does not launch nearly as well. I would not order this product again.

A few usability issues
My dog is obsessed with playing fetch. It’s part of our daily routine.
Pros
- I like that this comes with two launchers so we can keep one at home and one in the car.
- Build feels solid
Cons
- The cup is slightly too small for regular sized tennis balls. I buy the large Costco box of Penn tennis balls every couple of years for my dog. If you fully seat the ball in the cup/launching end, it’s extremely difficult to throw and puts some strain on your wrist. — the workaround is to only partially insert the ball when picking it up.
- Like others have stated, the launcher does come unscrewed occasionally after a few throws. It’s kind of annoying so I’ll likely try some thread lock, but ideally that wouldn’t be necessary.

Fun!!!
I can’t say enough good things about this tennis ball launcher! Roxy absolutely loves it. Every time I pick it up, her tail goes crazy with excitement. It’s so easy on my arm, and I love that it gives her a great way to burn off energy. The launcher is sturdy, well-made, and works like a charm. If you have a high-energy pup like Roxy, this is a must-have!

Fun along with frustration….
The product is good. The only problem is that the dark blue handle screws onto the lighter blue stick, and every 5-10 throws it comes unscrewed, and you have to screw them back tight. Maybe if they put a little bump in the handle and an indent on the handle so they could click into place it would work fine.

Great Value Toy

This toy has been one of my dog’s absolute favorites. He gets excited every time he sees it and will carry it around the house, toss it in the air, and keep himself entertained for a long time. The shape and texture seem perfect for him, and it quickly became one of his go-to toys over everything else in his basket.
What I really like is that it holds up reasonably well for the price. It’s definitely not indestructible, and after a lot of play, it will sometimes start to rip—usually around the feet first since that’s where my dog tends to grab and chew the most. But honestly, considering how affordable it is, I don’t mind replacing it when needed. It’s inexpensive enough that rebuying feels worth it because he genuinely loves it that much.
I’d rather keep buying a toy he is obsessed with than spend more on something that just sits untouched. It’s fun, cute, and keeps him happy, which is what matters most. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it for dogs who love plush toys and playful chewing.
