Engineered for today’s security‑centric, IoT‑driven, mobile‑first networks, the Cisco Catalyst 9300L‑48T‑4X‑A Switch is the lead stackable enterprise switching platform in the Catalyst 9300 family. This model blends rugged reliability with intelligent automation, delivering edge access that scales as your organization grows—from small campuses to mid‑sized branch networks. Built to support secure access, policy‑driven networking, and cloud‑native management, the 9300L series helps IT teams reduce operational complexity while accelerating digital initiatives. With 48 copper 1G ports and 4 high‑speed 10G uplinks, it offers dense user‑ and device‑side connectivity, robust QoS for latency‑sensitive applications, and a flexible foundation for future IT strategies, including IoT adoption, mobility, and secure cloud access. Cisco’s investment in security features, reliable performance, and seamless integration with Cisco DNA Center and other management frameworks makes the Catalyst 9300L‑48T‑4X‑A a smart choice for organizations that require dependable, scalable, and future‑proof networking at the edge.

  • High‑density access for edge devices — 48 x 1G Ethernet (RJ‑45) ports provide ample, versatile connectivity for desktops, IP phones, printers, cameras, access points, and a growing portfolio of IoT devices. The switch is designed to simplify device onboarding, reduce cabling complexity, and ensure predictable performance even in dense user environments. With thoughtful port distribution and efficient power utilization, the 9300L supports campus architectures that demand reliability without sacrificing flexibility for evolving workloads.
  • Flexible uplinks with scalable aggregation — 4 x 10G SFP+ uplink ports enable fast, scalable connections to the distribution layer or data center core. This uplink footprint supports streamlined spine‑and‑leaf strategies and provides room for growth as bandwidth needs rise from edge devices, security appliances, and cloud‑connected services. The uplinks can accommodate fiber or copper modules, enabling diverse deployment options across campus sites and branch offices.
  • Security‑first, policy‑driven networking — Built with enterprise‑grade security in mind, the Catalyst 9300L integrates advanced features such as 802.1X authentication, dynamic ARP inspection, IP source guard, DHCP snooping, and threat defense capabilities. These protections help ensure device compliance, segment traffic for sensitive data, and reduce exposure to evolving attack vectors at the edge. The platform supports feature‑rich access control lists, secure management, and automated security policy enforcement across the network fabric.
  • Reliability, resiliency, and simplified management — The 9300L is designed for continuous operation in campus environments, featuring options for redundancy, stacking, and energy efficiency. Stacking with Cisco StackWise provides simplified management across multiple switches as a single logical unit, while StackPower and optimized cooling contribute to resilient, low‑maintenance deployments. Centralized visibility, proactive health telemetry, and scalable policies help administrators manage lifecycle events with minimal disruption.
  • Future‑proof, cloud‑ready, and programmable — The switch runs Cisco IOS XE and supports modern, cloud‑centric management workflows. It is designed to work with Cisco DNA Center for intent‑based networking, telemetry, and automation, enabling zero‑touch provisioning, policy automation, and simplified firmware lifecycle management. This makes it well suited for organizations pursuing digital transformation, as it can adapt to evolving security requirements, new IoT deployments, and hybrid cloud architectures.

How to Install Cisco Catalyst 9300L-48T-4X-A Switch

  • Prepare the installation site: Verify rack space in a standard 19‑inch rack, ensure adequate ventilation, and plan cable routes to minimize interference and entanglement. Confirm power availability and redundancy options to support continuous operation.
  • Mount and connect the hardware: Secure the switch to the rack with appropriate hardware, attach stacking cables if you intend to deploy a stack, and connect the 4 x 10G uplinks to the core or distribution switches. Route the 48 x 1G user ports to endpoints, access points, or IoT devices as your design requires.
  • Power up and access management interfaces: Apply power and use the console port or web/CLI management interfaces to initiate the device. Confirm that the device boots correctly and that the management plane is reachable from your administrative workstation or network operations center.
  • Initial configuration: Set a unique hostname, assign a management IP address, and configure admin credentials. Establish baseline security policies, VLANs, and a management plane security posture. If deploying in a stack, synchronize member configurations and verify the stack configuration is healthy.
  • Define network policies and validate connectivity: Create VLANs for access, apply QoS policies for latency‑sensitive traffic, and enable necessary routing or bridging features. Test inter‑VLAN routing, uplink reachability, and path redundancy. Save the configuration and monitor with basic show commands to confirm healthy operation.
  • Optional integration and automation: Integrate with Cisco DNA Center or your chosen network management tool to enable inventory, policy automation, telemetry, and ongoing health checks. Enable API access for programmatic provisioning and lifecycle management.

Durable
Color: S6-muti-color
The balls are great for chewers. The squeaky didn’t last long but they are perfect for the ball launcher.

The squeeker isn't durable, but the balls themselves are.
Color: S6-muti-color, Color: S6-muti-color
I have two 70+lb, ball obsessed dogs (a field bred Golden Retriever, and an Old Time Scotch Collie), and these balls are living up to the abuse they're receiving. In the fall we always lose a ball or two in the yard due to getting lost in leaves or longer grass, so I always try and buy a multi pack at the start of the season, so went with these this year. I'm glad I did. Great price for a 6 pack, they fit the medium Chuck-It launcher (a little loosely, but they throw just fine), have great bounce, they FLOAT (which means I didn't lose any at the beach), and they're super durable to the dreaded "mouth squish." The squeaker dies pretty quick, like, within a day, but it isn't the kind that can fall out or choke your dog, so no worries there. The boys are happy, I'm happy, my wallet is happy - I've already ordered another pack.

Color: S6-muti-color
These were great for about 20 minutes then they stopped squeaking...we have 2 left that I have saved but the other 4 do not squeak anymore...disappointed as my dog loves to squeak things...would not buy these again...My dog is only an 8lb dog too...but he can still play with the balls without the squeak...

Great Value for a ball my dog loves!
Color: S6-muti-color
I wish these ball were in the subscription program! My dog gets sooo excited by the new ball, but her interest in things lasts for a few days. She kills the squeak within 11minutes, but the squeaker stays in place rather than becoming a chocking or swallow hazard, and she still loves to chew it. Next, we must throw the ball approximately 723 times the first day, possibly 496 times on day 2, and just 3- 4 on day 3, at which point she will chase the ball before hollering "it's over here if you need it," while she checks on the chipmunk den. We currently have 17 of these balls in our yard (because we have given several leftovers to a less discriminating doodle next door). These balls hold up really well, get her extremely active for the first couple of days, and are a much cheaper than doggie daycare (after an active morning with a new ball, she is happy to chew on it and sleep much of the day). I always have these on hand!
