Beyond his illustrious movie career, starring in 175 movies, John Wayne was also an enduring American patriot. Now, you can honour this larger-than-life personality with the one-of-a-kind John Wayne, The American Legend Sculpture, a first-ever limited-edition commemorative 85th anniversary Platinum Edition sculpture only from The Hamilton Collection. Inspired by an original black and white painting by acclaimed artist Joe Petruccio based on the movie "Hondo," this dramatic sculpture is meticulously handcrafted and hand-painted in metallic platinum and glossy black paints to recreate the eye-stopping effect found in the artist's original art.
The duo-tone John Wayne sculpture is handcrafted with intricate details abound, from the fringe and lacing on his western-style shirt and upturned cuffs of his pants to his "leather" boots, saddlebag, and gun belt - even the noble expression on his face is truly remarkable! A sleek black lacquer pedestal base sports a commemorative plaque bearing Duke's replica signature creating a museum-quality presentation.
