Sela Harmony Chimes produce an atmospheric, calming sound. The hand-held instrument consists of several aluminum sound tubes, which are secured by tear-resistant nylon cords and framed by two wooden holding rods. The Sela Harmony Chimes are played with the included mallet. Once set in motion, they can also be gently swung, turned or carefully swirled around to fill the whole room with their soft sound.
Sela Harmony Chimes are available with a choice of seven or nine tones and with walnut or beech wood. In the walnut models, the sound tubes are anodized black for a particularly mysterious, elegant look, while the bars of the more classic and discreet beech wood version are silver-coloured. The Sela Harmony Chimes come with a padded carrying bag, a soft velvet insert for wrapping the chimes and the mallet, which has a beechwood handle and a soft wool head.
No musical knowledge is required to play the Sela Harmony Chimes. Played individually or in succession, the differently tuned chimes create an extremely relaxing atmosphere that can have a positive effect on body and mind. This makes the instrument ideal for personal relaxation after a stressful day as well as for meditation, yoga and sound therapy. Of course, the Sela Harmony Chimes can also be integrated into a musical context as a very special effect. And when they are not being played, they stylishly enhance any room as a chic decorative element.
