Digitally remastered and expanded 2-CD Edition containing 12 bonus live recordings. 1982 sophomore album from this legendary London based band featuring future LA Guns vocalist Philip Lewis and Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen. They couldn't have been more different; five musical rouges from London who had, almost by accident, joined a NWOBHM street party and found themselves sticking out like dandies in bare knuckle cage fight. That these guys were unique was the least of their worries. Fortunately, they made amends by tooling up with razor sharp riffs, knock out hooks and raw production. They were also fronted by a charismatic lead vocalist that taunted the crowd by blowing kisses to bikers. Wasted Youth was the band's second album for Jet Records and one that was recorded in two phases, amidst getting bogged down in the sort of unnecessary label aggro that had already started to erode their faith. Learning from their previous visual faux pas, they decided to dial down the glam look and concentrate on beefing up their sound, with tough guy bravado and a dress code to match. It was a brave attempt to redress the balance but, despite the coordinated effort and finely honed material, the project was still not firing on all six with a label still unable to connect the dots. Wasted Youth, sadly, was lost in space, a fate accentuated by the departure of guitarist Phil Collen, accepting an offer to join Def Leppard for their epoch making Pyromania album. Later, Phil Lewis went on to front highly successful rock outfit LA Guns. Both of them left behind a 24 Karat legacy, one that has been hailed by several high profile musicians as a huge influence on the glam rock explosion.

I bought a different coffee warmer for myself, maybe 4 years ago. I live in an area that has very cold winters, and I could never enjoy even one cup of coffee in the morning without it turning quite cold halfway thru. So I bought this other warmer. It improved my situation, but only slightly. At its hottest setting, my coffee was, at best, tepid warm within 15 minutes. I finally got fed up with it and purchased this model, noting that it's warmest setting was reported to several degrees higher than my earlier one. I'm delighted to report, it works! It definitely keeps my coffee noticeably warmer, right to the end of the cup. It falls short of being "piping hot", but I'm not sure that would even be desirable. Call it "comfortably hot". I'm very glad I tried this model.

Consistently Warm Cup Every Time

I resisted getting an electronic coffee warmer, because I hadn't had one in years. I am so glad that I changed my mind. I am no longer having to microwave my coffee again and again as it gets cold. I love that this coffee warmer has multiple temperature options. I love that I can adjust the number of hours (1-12) until I would like it to automatically shut off. It heats up quickly, so you needn't plan ahead. When you want it, it is fully functional on the spot. Since it has a heating function, my policy is to unplug it when not in use. I wouldn't give this as a gift, not because it isn't awesome, but because owning it requires a personal commitment to using it responsibly. And you must have a suitable cup. My cup, as you see here, is a celodon cup. It heats perfectly well even though the base has a shallow rim rather than a flat bottom, which makes direct contact with the heating table. If you have a similar cup, be assured that will be just fine and your coffee or other liquid will stay warm. Its versatile functionality and beautiful design make this an excellent value for the money. To me, there's nothing like a good cup of coffee in the morning and this warmer makes all the difference as it is uniformally a perfect cup, even if I get interrupted.

Nice size and works well

I got this to replace a rather inexpensive mug warmer that had quit working just a few months after purchase. This one is nice, you can adjust the temp, adjust how long it stays on, and it has an easy to read display so you know them temp and auto shut-off time. Its versatile as it fits a variety of mugs/cups and it works really well.

Best mug warmer I’ve ever had!

This does what I had hoped my other two mug warmers would do. Actually keep my coffee hot. I also love that I can set the timer so that I don’t accidentally leave it on. Additionally, my other two warmers were activated by setting the cup down on the warmer, which meant that if somebody sat something else beside a coffee cup on it, it burned it. And that did happen. This one is only hot when you turn it on. I can also change the temperature settings and choose how long I want it to be on up to 12 hours. I definitely will buy this again for another room in the house.
