Description:

The Railway Detective:
Set in the early days of the British railway system, this novel introduces Detective Inspector Robert Colbeck. When a train is robbed and its driver badly injured, Colbeck is called in to solve the case. He navigates the burgeoning railway industry and faces challenges in catching the culprits.

The Railway Viaduct:
Colbeck and his trusty sidekick, Sergeant Victor Leeming, investigate sabotage and murder on the railway viaduct in Lancashire. The detective duo must uncover the reasons behind the attacks and bring the perpetrators to justice amidst industrial unrest.

The Iron Horse:
As the Great Exhibition of 1851 approaches, Colbeck is tasked with ensuring the security of a train carrying a valuable shipment. When the train is derailed and the shipment stolen, Colbeck faces a race against time to recover the goods and prevent further attacks.

Murder on the Brighton Express:
A horrific crash on the Brighton Express leaves multiple fatalities, but it soon becomes clear that the incident was no accident. Colbeck must sift through the wreckage and deception to find the killer responsible for the deadly derailment.

The Silver Locomotive Mystery:
A valuable silver coffee pot, intricately crafted in the shape of a locomotive, is stolen during transport. Colbeck and Leeming must track down the thieves while navigating the intricate web of railway connections and society's elite.

Railway to the Grave:
Colbeck faces a personal challenge when the investigation into a suicide on the tracks reveals connections to a mysterious and unresolved case from his past. The detective must delve into painful memories to uncover the truth.

Blood on the Line:
The capture of a notorious prisoner turns deadly when he escapes during transport on the train. Colbeck must recapture the dangerous criminal while contending with a mounting body count along the railway lines.

Timetable of Death:
The investigation into the death of a stationmaster leads Colbeck into the world of railway timetables and intricate schedules. The seemingly straightforward case reveals deeper conspiracies and long-held grudges.

Signal for Vengeance:
Colbeck and Leeming are called to investigate a signalman's murder, uncovering layers of deception and hidden motives within the railway workforce. The case tests their deductive skills and moral integrity.

Points of Danger:
The discovery of a dead body near a railway track points Colbeck to a complex web of intrigue and danger. As he unravels the mystery, he must protect those he cares about from unseen threats.

Fear on the Phantom Special:
A luxury train service, the Phantom Special, is plagued by a series of unsettling events and fear spreads among the passengers. Colbeck is tasked with ensuring the safety of the passengers while unmasking the culprit behind the sinister happenings.

Worth every penny
Size: USB C to Ethernet Adapter
This adapter provides a stable, hardwired connection when Wi-Fi is not fast enough for heavy law school research. It is strictly plug and play, requiring no software installation. The weight is negligible, making it easy to keep in my bag for campus. Given the excellent build quality and consistent functionality without any drop-offs, it offers solid value for money. It’s perfectly versatile for numerous uses (keeps me from having to use like 3 other dongles)

Works brilliantly with Steam Deck!
Size: USB C to Ethernet Adapter, Size: USB C to Ethernet Adapter
I bought this specifically for a Valve Steam Deck. I recently got a gigabit fiber connection and wanted to take full advantage of it when downloading games on the Deck. I took a gamble on this adapter knowing that Linux generally has incredible driver support without much, if any, configuring. I installed it into the Steam Deck's USB-C port, hooked the other end up to my network switch, and the Steam Deck instantly registered a new wired connection. I didn't even have to go into "Desktop Mode" for it; it all worked flawlessly in the "Gaming Mode". I downloaded a 15GB game in about 3 minutes with the Deck maxing out at 880Mbps. The device itself seems well built with a braided cable and gray anodized aluminum enclosures on each end. It's small and compact so it'll fit nicely in the Steam Deck case's little pouch or in that drawer that every house has that's full of cables, adapters, and dongles. It seems as though it's good value for money as well, like every Anker product I've purchased, but time will tell if something goes screwy down the line.

Great way to connect my Ethernet to my MacBook Pro....
Size: USB C to Ethernet Adapter
Needed to direct connect to my Modem / Router, but my MacBook Pro, being more modern, and slimmer, doesn't have an Ethernet port anymore (thank goodness). This worked perfectly; just plugged it in and ripped...definitely Plug-n-Play for my Mac. Quality is good (what else do you expect from Anker).

Easy to use Plug and Play
Size: USB C to Ethernet Adapter
The item works great. I was having issues with video conference calls even with strong wifi in my house. I bought this adapter due to my HP laptop not having an Ethernet port. This worked great right out of the box. It was detected automatically and as soon as I plugged the Ethernet cable into the adapter, my laptop immediately switched over to that and my internet became more stable.
