“Original, vibrant, and intelligent; the characters leap from the page thanks to authentic settings, nonstop action, backstabbing villains, and rough justice.” —STEVE BERRY
Outlaw Torn Slater is no stranger to having a price on his head. Or being the target of a bloodthirsty vendetta. Or finding himself up to his neck in a whole mess of trouble. One thing’s for certain, no matter how ornery of a scrape he might get himself into, Slater has a knack for shooting his way out of it . . .
But when he rides into the mining town of Durango, Colorado, Slater is in for one hell of a dust up. In the smoky haze of the town’s finest bordello, he quickly gets wind of a plot to take over one of the world’s richest gold mines. It’s the greedy brainchild of an international cartel made up of some of the world’s most powerful men: the brutal dictator of Mexico, the chancellor of Germany, a former Confederate general, a legendary bank robber, and a brilliant philosopher to mention just a few. But once Slater understands what’s really up for grabs, he decides to take matters into his own hands, with some help from a few of his most dangerous friends, some of the deadliest gunslingers the Wild West has ever known, including Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday, Bat Masterson, and Belle Starr. It’s a showdown for the ages that acclaimed author Jackson Cain pulls off with masterful plot twists and wild bursts of relentless action.

real good
Format: Kindle
This was a solid read for the ABO universe. The characters are great. The smut scenes were well written. And the town is so cute I want to go there. It didn’t have much character development it just felt like I was getting to the characters as they were getting to know each other.

So sweet
Format: Kindle
It’s so unexpectedly sweet that it sneaks up on you. Each character is so unique and charming. I love the openness and honesty among their pack. It really blows me away how wonderful this omegaverse trope plays out.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Needs editing
Format: Kindle
Cute storyline and promising characters, but the lack of editing is painful to read. I would love to read an edited version.

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book.
Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray.
I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.
