The 11-track collection recorded at the historic Sam Phillips Recording Studios in Memphis, Tenn. Was produced by acclaimed Memphis recording engineer and producer Matt Toss-Spang. Ross-Spang is hailed by Rolling Stone as "one of the most trusted arbiters of the modern Memphis sound." Working with John Prine, Jason Isbell and Margo Price, he notched a Grammy for engineering Isbell's The Nashville Sound (as he did for 2015's Something More Than Free); co-produced Price's stunning debut, Mid-west Farmers Daughter, and sophomore effort All American Made; and engineered Prine's The Tree of Forgiveness. Mead has been upending expectations and walking the line between hardcore country music and raucous rock'n'roll for the better part of 25 years. As a member of the alternative country music quintet BR5-49 in the early 1990s, Mead fused rock'n'roll excitement with the soul of the Music City's honky tonk heritage, sparking the rebirth of Nashville's Lower Broadway music scene. Over the course of the late 90's and the early 21st century, he recorded seven albums with BR5-49 and spread the gospel of neo-traditional country music around the world, garnering the band a CMA Award for Best International Touring Act and three Grammy nominations. He currently serves as the Musical Director/Supervisor/Producer of the hit Broadway musical Million Dollar Quartet, as well as the companion CMT dramatic series, Sun Records.

AMAZING - LOVE THESE!

I've been using these pillow cases for more than 6 months and LOVE them. They are well made, no wrinkling, fraying or wearing out, even with a weekly washing. I love the zippers on them, my pillows fits perfectly in the case and don't constantly escape from the case overnight. They definitely perform as described: they keep me cool at night and don't smell and actually don't make a mess of my hair. I bought an extra one and put it on a pillow I keep close to my body which helps me from overheating during the night. They are a great value for the price, I wish I could get top sheets in the same style as these and I'd be in heaven!

Cool Pillowcases
Color: Gray, Size: Queen (U.S. Standard), Set name: Stretchy and Soft
These pillow cases are silky soft and cool to the touch. They don’t stay as cool as I would like, however, so I find myself moving around on the pillow to find a cool spot or flipping the pillow over. I have washed them several times and the coolness seems to be diminishing. Still, it’s better than a regular cotton pillow case. The zipper is needed and helps keep the material on the pillow.

Comfortable and stays cool

Great pillow. When i opened it, i noticed a strange smell, i assumed its the smell of whatever they use to make the pillow stay cool. You have to fluff it for a good amount of time to make sure the cooling agent spreads well in the foam. Is what i assumed atleast. Its a perfect amount of softness for me. Pair it with some bamboo pillow cases and you got a good night of sleep
