By: Taklungpa Ngawang NamgyelA comprehensive history of the Taklung Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, composed in the seventeenth century, and includes glossy color images of recently discovered twelfth-century portraits and inscriptions.
This is the first ever English translation of a multilayered and comprehensive historiographical volume on the political, artistic, architectural, biographical, and mystical dimensions of the Taklung, one of four primary subsects of the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. The bulk of the volume is a translation of an early seventeenth-century Tibetan history by Taklung Ngawang Namgyel and includes supplements to that history written in the eighteenth, nineteenth, and twentieth centuries. Centering an otherwise marginal and understudied Buddhist tradition, this volume contains an extraordinary wealth of historical, religious, and biographical information not found in any other published work. It is a complex tale of Tibetan religiopolitical maneuvering in the face of centuries of civil unrest and armed conflict with Central Asian warring dynasties.
While detailing the abbatial succession of the tradition’s two main monastic seats, Taklung and Riwoche Monasteries, it is also broad and vast in scale, going back to sixth-century BCE India to include early Indian Buddhist canon formulation, moving then to narratives on the Tibetan Kagyu lineage holders (Marpa, Milarepa, Gampopa), to the twelfth-century founding of the Taklung sect in Tibet, and then all the way through to the early twentieth century, which saw Tibet’s first modern military and cultural conflicts both within the country and with Chinese, Mongol, and Gorkha forces.
An introductory essay by art historian Jane Casey on painting in the Taklung tradition includes her scholarly analysis of the dating and provenance of thirteenth-century portraits and inscriptions, only discovered in recent decades. Glossy color images of these paintings are included in the volume.
Shambhala Publications gratefully acknowledges the generous support of Robert H. N. Ho and John Eskenazi in sponsoring the translation, and the Tsadra Foundation in sponsoring the preparation and printing of this book.

Great for small spaces
Color: Black, Size: 6 Tier(8 inches), Color: Black, Size: 6 Tier(8 inches)
I use this to hold a ton of stuff. I have a very small trailer so I need to store stuff with height for make space. I like that the drawers slide out, it makes it easy to use. I have clothes and fabric on this currently.
This built very easily. It’s not the sturdiest away from a wall, I’d be afraid my toddler would knock it over if it wasn’t shoved in a corner like this. But overall it’s nice, convenient storage. I do like the faux wood appearance on top, I am too short to get a good photo of that but it’s a nice touch and makes it look a little nicer. Once again this is great for small spaces to give you maximum storage without taking up floor space.

Cheap for a reason
Color: Black, Size: 6 Tier(13 inches)
Missing a support bar so I have to return it. The provided hardware is very soft so good thing I dont plan on taking it apart because the allen bolts would not survive. Good idea but not the best quality.

Easy to Maintain & Highly Versatile
Color: Black, Size: 6 Tier(13 inches)
Literally so convenient. Okay first off easy to install / setup, just a little time consuming is all. But it holds soooooo much, each basket is a different category. I have this in my bathroom closet to hold all my toiletries, perfumes, and other things. Everything is so organized now & not just thrown into a drawer. Before I used this as my closet I used this as something to store my hobbies but I decided to just put those in my closet in boxes. So you can basically use this as anything, ooh I would also use this to store plants, the wheels lock in place when you don’t need them and they unlock when you want to roll it, so you can place it anywhere & move it any time you want. Very versatile. The bins pull out but they don’t pull out all the way. The bins have holes so it’s breathable as well for anything you store. This is actually very high quality & it’s actually easy to wipe down (considering that it’s plastic). 10/10 would buy again!

Perfect for tight spaces and surprisingly sturdy!
Color: White, Size: 6 Tier(13 inches)
I am beyond impressed with this 6-tier storage cart. I was looking for something to maximize the vertical space in a very narrow gap, and this fits like it was custom-made.
What I love:
Quality & Durability: The carbon steel frame feels very stable, and the safety stops on the drawers are a game-changer—you don’t have to worry about the baskets falling out when you pull them.
Design & Aesthetics: The wood top gives it a premium look that blends nicely with my decor, unlike all-plastic utility carts. The white finish is clean and bright.
Ease of Use: Assembly was straightforward, and it rolls smoothly even when fully loaded. I also appreciate the 6 side hooks for hanging smaller items.
Versatility: The drainage holes in the baskets make it great for the bathroom or laundry room, but it’s cute enough for a craft room or kitchen too.
If you have a small space that needs serious organization, this is definitely worth the investment. It’s functional, high-quality, and looks great!

A great product!
Color: Black, Size: 6 Tier(8 inches), Color: Black, Size: 6 Tier(8 inches)
This storage cart really maximizes the space going up. This rolling cart is taller than me; I have 8-foot-tall doors, and you can see from my picture how tall this is. It is lightweight, rolls smoothly, is easy to assemble, and is a great value.
You can place heavier or taller shampoo bottles on the shelves; they are pretty steady and not loose. The way this is built, the shelves are sturdy (they have 2 metal poles underneath giving them support). They also don't slide all the way out, so you don't have to worry about pulling it out too far and having things fall.
This is a really great product, and I plan to use it in my master bathroom for all the extra stuff we have.
