The 18th century fragment originally came from a church in Tuscany. The Italian artifact and minerals are mounted onto the gold powdered canvas and put together to create a 3D sculptural wall piece. The piece appears to have evolved together over time - Interpreting the past to create historical yet contemporary work entirely original, evolving in its own right.
