Despite releasing only one album with 1993's "Afterlife", Blackthorne deserved to be much bigger, despite Kerrang! Magazine's assertion that, "Afterlife invites you to bang your head, raise yer fist and holler", and by Metal CD magazine as, "A collection of big, chest-beating anthems". A "super-group", in the truest sense, the original band featured Graham Bonnet, whose lengthy career includes a successful solo career, albums with Alcatrazz, which had featured early outings for both Yngwie J. Malmsteen and Steve Vai, spots with The Michael Schenker Group, Anthem and Impelliterri, but is probably best known for fronting the mainstream, commercial breakthrough for Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, with 1979's "Down To Earth". Lead guitarist Bob Kulick established himself working with Meat Loaf and KISS. Jimmy Waldo is probably best known for his keyboards with Alcatrazz, and was previously in the AOR band New England. Blackthorne's line-up was completed by Quiet Riot's Frankie Banali on drums. Work began on a follow-up album, resulting in the first ten tracks featured here. The "lost" second album, "Don't Kill The Thrill" demonstrates what a powerful unit Blackthrone had become in a short period of time. The previously unreleased 10 track "Don't Kill The Thrill" album has been augmented by no less than 20 bonus tracks, including rare live recordings captured in the States and Japan. Hit Parader magazine concluded that this was a band with, "A Triple-A rated rock and roll pedigree, Blackthorne is a band that certainly knows everything there is to know about making great rock music. "This expanded collection features liner notes by Malcolm Dome, based on recent interviews with Graham Bonnet and Bob Kulick.

Excellent Value.

Excellent value. Well made. Assembles in a few minutes. Note that the tilt control is the single click type. You push a button on the support column and tilt the umbrella until it picks in place. Venting design is helpful in keeping umbrella from tipping over in moderate wind. Fabric is a light synthetic. We chose green which we like.

Love this umbrella!

I totally love my umbrella. The 10 foot size is perfect for the coverage I needed. The assembly was super easy. The Lake Blue color is more beautiful than the pictures displayed. UV coating is exactly what I need, after having skin cancer. It's also stable in light to moderate wind, thanks to the slits in each tiered layer, allowing wind to pass through. I've only had this umbrella a week, but am impressed at this point. It's much more cost effective than having either an awning or roof extension over my patio. $90 vs $8-20k! Highly recommended.

Really Nice Hydrating Toner Pads

At 52, post-menopausal, with dry and increasingly sensitive skin, I’m very selective about toner pads. Many of them either feel too thin and ineffective or too active and irritating. These landed right in the middle in the best possible way — gentle, hydrating, and very easy to use.
The first thing I noticed is how well these pads are saturated. They’re not dripping, but they hold enough product to comfortably treat the entire face. The gel texture also makes them feel a little more substantial than typical toner pads, which I really like. They feel cooling and comfortable on the skin.
What I notice most after using them is how hydrated and slightly plumped my skin looks. This isn’t dramatic or instant, but it’s the kind of improvement that makes your skin look healthier and more comfortable. My skin feels smoother and softer, and it layers very well with the rest of my routine.
They also feel very lightweight. There’s no sticky or heavy residue, and once the essence absorbs, my skin just feels hydrated and calm. I can easily follow with serums and moisturizer without any pilling.
I also appreciate that these pads are gentle and very skin-compatible. I’ve had no irritation, redness, or sensitivity, even on days when my skin is feeling more reactive. At this stage, that matters more than aggressive results.
In terms of moisture, these do a really nice job. My skin feels comfortable after using them, and they work well as a prep step before the rest of my routine. On some mornings, they even give enough hydration that I don’t feel rushed to apply moisturizer immediately.
Fragrance is also worth mentioning. The scent is very light and subtle, and it doesn’t linger. I’m careful about fragrance, and these didn’t cause any sensitivity or irritation.
Another thing I like is how easy they are to use. They’re quick, convenient, and a nice step when I want hydration without adding another liquid toner.
Overall, these feel like a supportive, hydrating step that helps improve overall skin quality over time. They’re gentle, comfortable, and easy to incorporate into a daily routine.

Love These Toner Pads

I’ve really been enjoying these Biodance Collagen Gel Toner Pads! They feel super refreshing on the skin and are an easy step to add into my routine. The pads are well-soaked without being messy, and they glide on smoothly.
