The Intel® Tri-mode RAID Controller solution, led by the RMSP3CD080F mezzanine RAID module, is engineered to unleash the full potential of PCIe NVMe within hardware RAID architectures. Built for demanding environments—from content and web hosting appliances to security devices, financial institutions, cloud service providers, and enterprise IT—this solution delivers high-performance storage scalability with robust reliability. Designed to fit the 2U Intel® Server Board S2600WF family, the RMSP3CD080F offers a flexible, future-ready upgrade path that helps businesses accelerate data-intensive workloads, reduce CPU overhead, and simplify storage management across diverse data centers. By integrating NVMe capabilities directly into hardware RAID, this module enables faster I/O, lower latency, and improved quality of service for mission-critical applications, while preserving compatibility with existing storage ecosystems. This description blends key elements from official product communications and industry-oriented summaries to spotlight the unique value proposition of Intel’s tri-mode RAID approach—balancing modern NVMe performance with proven hardware RAID reliability in a compact mezzanine form factor.

  • Accelerated NVMe performance with hardware RAID offload: The RMSP3CD080F is purpose-built to offload intensive NVMe workloads from the host CPU, delivering high-throughput, low-latency storage access and freeing server resources for application processing, virtualization, and web-scale workloads. This translates to faster application response times, more consistent I/O during peak demand, and improved user experiences for latency-sensitive services such as streaming, database queries, and real-time analytics.
  • Mezzanine form factor for seamless data-center integration: Specifically designed for the 2U Intel® Server Board S2600WF product family, the RMSP3CD080F fits as a compact mezzanine card that simplifies deployment in dense rack environments. Its modular architecture reduces cabling complexity and enables straightforward upgrades, so data centers can scale storage capacity and performance without overhauling entire server platforms.
  • Tri-mode RAID capabilities for versatile data protection: This Intel RAID module combines hardware RAID technology with PCIe NVMe support to deliver flexible data protection options across mixed storage environments. Administrators can implement proven RAID levels and configurations to safeguard data while still leveraging NVMe’s speed advantages for hot data and cache-critical workloads, helping to balance performance, redundancy, and total cost of ownership.
  • Broad applicability for enterprise-grade workloads: The RMSP3CD080F is tailored for use in a wide range of deployments—including content delivery networks, cloud hosting, security appliances, and enterprise IT infrastructures. By enabling fast, reliable storage access in critical appliances and servers, it supports scalable, resilient architectures that can meet evolving business demands, regulatory requirements, and uptime commitments.
  • Enterprise-ready manageability and reliability: With robust management capabilities and monitoring features, this Intel RAID module simplifies firmware updates, health checks, and configuration changes across large fleets. Administrators benefit from streamlined provisioning, proactive alerting, and consistent performance, which reduces operational overhead and helps ensure service continuity for customers and end users alike.

Technical Details of Intel Tri-mode RAID Controllers

Technical specifications for the RMSP3CD080F are not provided in the available data. Note that the information below reflects the intended role and integration context rather than a parsing of published spec sheets. For complete, device-level details (such as exact RAID levels, firmware versions, I/O throughput, and compatibility matrices), consult official Intel documentation or the Synnex catalog using the appropriate UPC or SKU data when available.

How to install Intel Tri-mode RAID Controller

  • Prepare the server and power down safely: Before installation, shut down the Intel server platform, disconnect power, and discharge any static electricity. Verify that you have the correct server model (2U S2600WF family) and that a compatible mezzanine slot is available for the RMSP3CD080F.
  • Access the mezzanine slot: Remove any blanking panels or covers as required by your server chassis. Locate the dedicated mezzanine slot and ensure it is clean, free of debris, and ready to accept a PCIe-based module.
  • Install the RMSP3CD080F mezzanine card: Align the module with the slot and gently seat it with even pressure. Secure the connector and slot screws according to the server’s hardware documentation to ensure a stable, high-reliability connection.
  • Connect storage devices and power as needed: If required by your deployment, connect NVMe drives or auxiliary storage interfaces and verify power delivery is stable. Ensure all cables are routed to avoid interference with fans or airflow, preserving cooling efficiency.
  • Update firmware and configure RAID: Boot into the server’s management console and update the RMSP3CD080F firmware to the latest release. Use the Intel RAID management tools to configure RAID levels, define virtual disks, set rebuild priorities, and establish alert policies. Validate the configuration with a quick health check and run a short integrity test.
  • Optimize and monitor: Enable any recommended performance profiles, caching options, and monitoring agents. Schedule ongoing health monitoring and firmware refreshes to maintain compatibility with evolving hardware and software ecosystems.

Did the right thing to resolve my issue.
Covered my cost with little hassle. Started down the path of going back to manufacturing company but decided to just do a refund. The product was a floor vac that died.

Very Easy Warranty Claim Process!!
I have purchased a lot of Asurion warranties for products on Amazon over the past 5 years. This is the first time I've had to use the warranty. The Tineco vacuum mop that I purchased wasn't working well at all. I looked online to see how to file a warranty claim with Asurion. I had purchased the top line Tineco almost 3 years ago and my warranty was for 3 years. I was concerned that there might be an issue due to the amount and/or because the warranty was getting close to the end of the warranty period (3 years). Filing the claim was all online and walked you through all of the steps - very easy to follow and understand. They emailed a shipping label to me (they paid for shipping) and sent the Tineco to them. I figured it would be a lengthy and difficult process. After they received everything, they promptly denied the claim and closed the it. They said my personal information didn't match. I called them and discovered that since I was using a different email address, they couldn't match it up. The customer service agent changed the information and refiled the claim for me. I received another shipping label and used it to ship the Tineco back to them. They notified me when they received the Tineco and told me they would let me know after the repair department had looked at it. I received notification within a few hours that they could not fix it and would issue an Amazon Gift Card for the price that I paid for the Tineco (no tax included, of course). The Gift Card was in my account within a few hours! That had to be the easiest warranty claim I've ever made! I highly recommend Asurion for their warranties. The only thing I would suggest is that they change the warranty documentation to make it clear that they need the email address you filed the claim under and give you a place to put your new email address, if it has changed. I will not hesitate to continue to purchase Asurion warranties for products on Amazon! I like the idea of the monthly claim amount that is available for $16.99 per month, but you would have to buy a lot of products and warranty them for that to be equitable. I did the math and realized that I would have to purchase warranties for products that total $2,039 - $4,078 per year, every year (based on the charge of 10%-15% per warranty) to equal what I would pay for the individual warranties. I don't buy that many products that need warranties though, so it's not a value for me at all. IF I purchased the monthly warranty ($16.99 per month) and later decided that I didn't want to continue to pay that amount, none of my products would be warrantied! So, I had to really think about it first. I couldn't justify the monthly charge forever for the amount of products I purchase that can be warrantied. } Asurion - please consider offering the same warranty at a lower price per month - maybe you could put a cap on the dollar amount allowed to make it feasible for everyone. I would be very interested if the price wasn't so much.

Well, worth it
Well worth it my robot vacuum stopped working properly. It would not find it’s station and would wonder until the battery died. I was able to get a refund and buy a replacement.
