"complete retrospective of one of the finest teenage garage bands to emerge from Steel Country in the 1960s! The Arondies formed in late 1962 in Clairton, Pennsylvania. The young band struck a hit in 1965 with the help of local DJ Terry Lee: the flawless instrumental track “69.” Beautiful vocal ballads like “All My Love” followed, becoming favorites at the many dances they played. An endless cycle of shows, personal appearances, and shrieking girls proceeded. This was (briefly) Pittsburgh’s personal version of Beatlemania. Get Hip, in collaboration with band member Bill Scully, located and remastered many of The Arondies’ session tapes, supplementing missing masters with acetates and mint copies of their original singles. The result is a bona fide, deluxe reissue, complete with amazing sound and a 12-page booklet packed with photos, mementos, and an extensive band history. From the revved-up opening track “Step Move Jump Slide” to the Latin-inspired “Mexico Tex” to a laundry list of twangy, teenage garage nuggets, you’re sure to love this retrospective. Great shoe, horrible lace design.

This shoes look great and the materials for the actual shoe feel great. They run a little big that doesn't bother me. Unfortunately, the lace design is horrible. I've now have 2 pairs of these shoes and both times the bottom lace has ripped out of the stitching. The first time was on the 2nd day I wore them, and the replacement pair to those it happened after I walked 20 feet. Both times I've tied a knot in the bottom lace so that I could get through the day. Ideally these laces should be connected together and not attached to the shoe (this is how both of my Skechers Slip-ins are designed). Because I like the rest of the shoe so much I'm buying elastic laces to replace the horrible original laces.

Comfortable fit for slip-in fabric shoes
Size: 14, Color: Black/Black
My first experience with Marc Joseph. I typically purchase dress and casual work shoes from Florsheim and occasionally Rockport. I'm giving these four stars because the initial fit and feel appear solid. Depending on the shoe brand I wear a size 14 or 15. My feet are slightly wide but I don't alway need wide fit. These size 14 fit well with wide enough toe box. I've tried slip in shoes before and they just don't feel right. These somehow work and there is no heel slip. My only reservation is the high lip on the heel for slip-in and hope they dont catch pant hems. I gave 4 stars because I'll have to determine durability. Granted they are a light fabric shoe with a soft rubber tread. I'd like them to last for at least 6 months..and use them for business casual work wear during warm weather.
