The Danubia Merkur (Mercury) kit has an adjustable aluminium tripod which makes it easy to use and the 5x24 finder scope, three eyepieces, a 2 x barlow lens give plenty of scope for magnifying images and the erecting eyepiece that comes with the telescope, makes sure that the image remains the right way up when viewing the night sky.

The Merkur Kit also has a moon filter which is really useful when looking at a full moon, when the night sky is crystal clear. It boasts a terrific 45-454x magnification which can be expanded using a range of accessories which are sold separately, which makes this Danubia telescope the benchmark for amateur stargazers. The Super Ramsden SR4mm eyepiece will give 227x magnification on the 910mm focal length of the Merkur telescope, the Huygens eyepiece H12.5mm 72x magnification and the Huygens eyepiece H20mm, 45x magnification, so plenty of choice for weather conditions and subject viewing.
