How to install TRENDnet TPE-TG240G

  • Choose a secure, well-ventilated location in your equipment rack or closet. Ensure adequate airflow around the switch to prevent overheating during high PoE usage.
  • Mount the switch in a standard 19-inch rack using the included rack-mount kit. Align the unit, secure with screws, and confirm it is stable before powering.
  • Connect the power cord to a reliable power source. Verify that the outlet can handle the load, especially when multiple PoE devices are connected.
  • Connect PoE devices (cameras, phones, access points) to the PoE ports. Use up to 24 devices, aligning power consumption with the 370W budget to avoid overloading any single port.
  • Connect an uplink or uplink-capable device (such as a router or core switch) to one of the switch’s non-PoE ports using a Cat5e/6 Ethernet cable. This creates the network backbone for data transmission and device management.
  • Power on the switch and observe the per-port LEDs. Look for active links and PoE status to confirm devices are receiving data and power as expected. If a device fails to power on, redistribute the load or check device power requirements against the total PoE budget.
  • Optionally run basic network checks to ensure cameras or APs are reachable, and verify that your edge devices are receiving the intended bandwidth. For simple plug-and-play deployments, most users will enjoy immediate connectivity without configuration.

Takin’ Care Of Business!
Format: Kindle
While I thoroughly enjoyed the previous run of Iron Man, a comic I stay at least in the know as best as I can, I have a feeling that this is going to be even better.

Getting There
Format: Kindle
The let’s take Stark’s company plot is getting old, but at least this time they’re showing that Tony Stark ‘s major asset is his intellect. Still leaning too much into the Stark is an alcoholic canon, which even the writers of that arc admit was a mistake that they hadn’t thought out fully; a mistake that sucked the fun out of Invincible Iron Man for decades until Robert Downey Jr portrayed the character on the big screen, and writers on the comic started to write Stark to resemble the character as originally written. I do not like the art design on Tony Stark on this run at all. The feeble Howard Hughes look doesn’t fit Tony Stark at all, but if the story gets better, I can live with it. The art will change with the next team anyway. Ackerman seems to at least like Tony Stark and he seems to understand him; two things that were definitely not the case with Cantwell. Issue one didn’t put me off, and I’m invested enough to continue and see where it goes. At this stage with many Marvel titles that’s saying a lot.

Good, angry, start
Format: Kindle
After working at a manufacturing plant, I definitely appreciated Stark looking out for his workers. I will say the hostile takeover storyline feels a little over done for Iron man. Hope there are twists to come.

Iron Man(2024) #1
Format: Kindle
Iron Man(2024) #1 was filled with action, but the storyline so far is filled with gaps. The artwork was ok. Hopefully the next issue will make the story more clear.
