A Brooklyn family takes an outing to Coney Island, where they enjoy the rides, the food, and the sights. The father longs to know how everything sounds. Though his son does his best to interpret their noisy surroundings through sign language, he struggles to convey the subtle differences between the "loud" of the ocean and the "loud" of a roller coaster.
When the family drops in at the library after dinner, the boy makes a discovery. Perhaps the words he needs are within reach, after all.
Myron Uhlberg's story, based on his own childhood experiences, covers the almost unique topic within children's books of children raised by deaf parents. Ted Papoulas beautifully and sensitively portrays the family's day and brings the whole experience to life for readers.

The magnets hold well. The grommets are sturdy. The plastic is a bit thick and doesn't like to lie flat against the tub so it is constantly brushing you while you shower.

Great disposable shower liner

Didn't expect much from a shower liner, but this one delivered. The clear PEVA material looks clean and modern, and there's none of that gross chemical smell you get with cheap PVC liners.
The three bottom magnets are a game-changer — no more liner blowing into you mid-shower. Rustproof grommets mean no rust stains either.
Maintenance is a breeze: quick rinse, dries fast, done. Great value for what you get. Would recommend.

Too lightweight and flimsy, but it does the job

This shower liner works as expected, but it is a bit lightweight, and will drift around in the shower.
I will look at getting a more heavy duty one in the future. This one has the 3 magnets, and that isn't enough.
I would recommend getting one with double the magnets and a thicker plastic. I went cheap and regret it slightly, but at least these things are made to be disposable.
Other than that, the durability seems good, and it looks and feels like you would expect, but as stated, the plastic is flimsy and flutters around. Seems fairly mold resistant vs other liners I've used from the store (like cheaper Walmart ones etc).
