Includes digital download for album plus Reforestation EP, which features remixes from Kiln, Ten and Tracer, Western Skies Motel, Porya Hatami, Mombi, Spheruleus, plus two bonus songs from Mute Forest. 2015 release from Kael Smith AKA Mute Forest. Painstakingly written, recorded and mixed at his home studio in Denver, Deforestation sprawls across nine sonorous and meticulously wrought tracks containing elements of minimal electronic, ambient and folk. Large cavernous beats, micro-ambient deconstruction and nylon guitar all swirl into a coherent palate left for Smith’s poignant, intimate words. Mastered specifically for vinyl by Taylor Deupree (12k), and with the additional step taken to create lacquers by SAE Mastering, Deforestation sees a gatefold 180-gram release from Lost Tribe Sound that, like the material, takes no shortcuts. Both the album’s acetate and test pressing were scrutinized for anomalies on world-class vinyl setups at Arizona’s esteemed high-end audio dealer and vacuum tube specialists, Arizona Hi-Fi. Concluding the deluxe package and connecting intimately with the material within are stark, disintegrating images courtesy of renowned minimalist photographer Christy Romanick (Rivulets, Chihei Hatakeyam).

These hold up very well

I have NO luck with pillows. I’ve been in stores & tried them. They seemed ok there. At home, nope. I’ve been getting headaches & neck aches from lousy pillows. I’ll change one, a few nights relief. It doesn’t help that I’m prone to headaches. After reading about different pillows, I settled on these. The reviews were better than so many different ones I was looking at. Including high priced & brand names. I bought the standard size. When I saw, “Customers Usually Keep This”, I kept my fingers crossed. When I received them, I took one out of the package & put my head on it & thought, oh no! This is too hard! I tried it again. Ok….. I slept on it & haven’t had any pains since. It’s soft but firm enough to keep my head from sinking & messing up my neck. I don’t move. No more flipping my pillow over. My head doesn’t go below my neck anymore! This has been 2 months now, but it hasn’t changed at all. I wake up happy, not complaining. No more pains or headaches. This saved me from losing days with a heating pad or an ice pack. The price was excellent for 2 pillows. I can’t believe a blind buy was the answer! These are incredible. Finally, something worked for me.

Awesome Pillows!

Don’t judge by the size

I don’t write reviews here typically but I’ve been on the pillow hunt for years with no luck. Mine are always lumpy and misshapen or too soft or too firm. Don’t judge this pillow by how it looks though because I saw it and thought for sure I wasted money. They are small and not fluffy at all. But OMG I laid down on it and it’s the most comfortable pillow I’ve had in years. Memory foam didn’t work for me but this simple little pillow just allowed me some great sleep. Very happy with this purchase. It’s a simple, no frills pillow that’s perfect for this side sleeper that doesn’t like a too soft pillow.
