In Revisionist Art, Bob Dylan offers silkscreened covers of popular magazines from the last half century that somehow escaped history’s notice. As Luc Sante says in his introduction to this collection, they seem to emanate, “from a world just slightly removed from ours--a world a bit more honest about its corruption, its chronic horniness, its sweat, its body odor.” Art critic B. Clavery provides a history of Revisionist Art, from cave drawings, to Gutenberg, to Duchamp, Picasso, and Warhol. The book also features vivid commentaries on the work, (re)acquainting the reader with such colorful historical figures as the Depression-era politician Cameron Chambers, whose mustache became an icon in the gay underworld, and Gemma Burton, a San Francisco trial attorney who used all of her assets in the courtroom. According to these works, history is not quite what we think it is.

Very disappointed
Unfortunately I ended up being very disappointed with this purchase, after about two weeks of use, it just stopped performing. Not sure what happened but it just stopped releasing the ball and I don't know why, it had no flexibility left to it. I'm not doing a very good job of trying to explain why it quit working but suffice it to say, it became useless after a couple of weeks. Broke my neighbors dog's heart, lol.

Awesome ball and made to last!

Awesome ball! My dog loves it and plays with it all the time. He's a very aggressive chewer and there are only a few toys he can have without destroying them. Very pleased with this.

Pretty tough

I think the toy is great, but my dog was not excited about it. He prefers the original type which is larger. I think it could possibly be cracked open by a dog with a large mouth and is intent on getting the noise maker out. But it is pretty tough.

Definitely tough but not enough

I've been searching high and low for a durable and engaging toy for my 90lb american bulldog. She's destroyed countless toys and her number of toys just keep rising. This lasted for a few hours before she was able to chew off the rubber shell. But now shes still enjoying the hard plastic ball on the inside. Its also a perfect size of ball for her as she can fit it in her jaws comfortably without any worry of he swallowing it. Wish the outside shell was more durable though.
