The pickup configuration for the Vintage Pickguard is a True Velvet Neck, True Velvet Middle, and True Velvet Bridge model. The True Velvet models have a classic sound that is bright but not thin, and they feature a custom magnet stagger specifically designed to enhance string balance,

The Vintage Strat® Replacement Pickguard features solderless connectors to make it easy to install this pickguard into any guitar with a standard 11-hole pickguard. The pickup configuration for the Vintage Pickguard is a True Velvet™ Neck, True Velvet™ Middle, and True Velvet™ Bridge model. The True Velvet™ models have a classic sound that is bright but not thin, and they feature a custom magnet stagger specifically designed to enhance string balance, producing great clarity even with full chords. The middle pickup has reverse polarity for hum-cancellation in the 2 and 4 positions on the selector switch. The bridge pickup is just a touch warmer and louder than the neck and middle, so the transition between pickup positions is smooth and balanced. In true vintage style, the True Velvet™ pickups have hand-ground magnets and vintage, cloth-covered pushback cable.

Got it for, basically, half-off standard retail. At that price, it's a fine addition to the WWII library. Some interesting information displayed in a mostly entertaining way. I get that battle maps are always a challenge (maps are static - battles are dynamic). This does a fairly adequate job - better than most battle maps - though far from groundbreaking. item arrived well packed - no issues with binding (as some others seem to report). Though the book overall is a bit "warped" and several of the maps are mis-printed or mis-cut as to make them unusable. 3 bad out of 300 - not horrible - again at the price I paid. If the subject interest you - I'd suggest getting - but not a "must have".
