Anodized aluminum while considerably stronger (3X) than the common zinc diecast snap, is considerably lighter as well. The anodized finish means that the color will not fade or rub off and the rotating swivel is a must as it will give your pet a full range of motion and decrease wear and tear on both the leash and collar.
